<p>The Enterprise Architect - Retail &amp; Omni-Channel will collaborate with the other key areas of the company (business/IT) to ensure that plans are based on the overall Strategy and Architecture direction, defining new requirements and driving innovative business processes and technical solutions.</p>

<li>Partner with IT functions and their solution architects to design integrated IT solutions (including the build vs. buy decision) that translate business capability requirements and adhere to established global IT technology standards (infrastructure, application, integration, data).</li>
<li>Provide Architecture consulting to solution architects within delivery/execution teams (design, build/test, conversion/cutover) for business and technical projects across the globe.</li>
<li>Provide analysis and recommendations, via benchmarks and external industry point of view, on enterprise department performance for “Run and Maintain”.</li>
<li>Support IT and business leaders with technology advisory services for engaging with the business to “solve” business problems via technology and process innovation relative to IT capability requirements.</li>
<li>Act as informal mentor and coach to Solution Architects within other IT teams.</li>
<li>Contribute and represent Retail and Omni-Chanel at the IT Architectural Board.</li>

<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline/experience preferred</li>
<li>Minimum 5+ years of IT experience in an architecture role responsible for both business systems support and the successful delivery and deployment of IT technology-based solutions</li>

<p>OpenAI Finance ensures the organization is positioned for long-term success as we pursue our mission. The Revenue team plays a critical role in enabling OpenAI to scale its commercial offerings — overseeing billing operations, deal desk, revenue systems, and revenue accounting. We work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Go-To-Market teams to support new monetization strategies, improve operational efficiency, and maintain financial integrity as the business grows.</p>
<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>
<p>As the Ads Accounting Senior Manager, you will own the accounting and controllership for OpenAI’s advertising products. This includes end-to-end responsibility for revenue recognition, close, controls, and reporting for Ads — spanning measurement logic, rev-share structures, incentives, and emerging monetization models.</p>
<p>You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, Technical Accounting, GTM, Tax, and other key stakeholders to ensure Ads monetization is designed and operationalized in a way that is compliant, scalable, and decision-useful in a rapidly evolving product environment.</p>
<p>Advertising is a critical and growing monetization vector for OpenAI, and this role will help shape the financial foundations that enable Ads to scale responsibly and transparently.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>

<li>Own end-to-end accounting and controllership for Ads, including revenue recognition, contra-revenue, rev-share, incentives, and related accruals, in accordance with ASC 606.</li>
