The Quality/Design Release Engineer position focuses on issues with the engine and thermal systems that manifest later in product life. The role requires utilizing best practice problem solving to quickly determine root cause, develop strategies and tools to catch issues sooner, develop new designs and execute test plans that ensure such issues are averted in the future and support efficient and robust service solutions.
\nThe specific areas / sub-systems of responsibility would be within the base engine / long block and would be defined at the point of employment and joining the base engine team based on the successful candidate’s skill set and experience coupled with the skill set of the existing team. Examples of the ‘base engine’ / long block sub-systems are; Cylinder Block, heads, PCV, EGR, Sealing, Covers, Valvetrain, VCT’s, Cam Drive, Piston and Rod, Rotating system, Oil pump & Lubrication, Engine bearings Etc.
\nThe D&R Engineer is responsible for managing product release CAD and BOM structures, including assembly positioning and mass attribute analysis. This role also includes facilitating supplier data integration and developing CAD studies to support and drive design improvements.
\nThe D&R Engineer is expected to understand and effectively utilize product check-in/check-out processes, version control, data release, and change management within Ford’s PLM ecosystem.
\nThe D&R Engineer will perform feasibility analyses using CAD tools, including draft angle analysis, undercut detection, minimum bend radius validation for sheet metal, and clearance checks to support manufacturing and machining requirements.

The Senior Business Affairs Lead will effectively communicate context around complex BA related matters, helping drive positive outcomes and solution creation. They will provide any and all production and talent paperwork for productions including, production agreements, casting notices, talent contracts, releases, etc, and support on finance related processes i.e. PO creation, invoice processing, job reconciliation, budget management, etc, as needed.
\nThe Senior Business Affairs Lead will also provide talent and residual estimates when required, including analysis of strategic development of terms and costing approaches. They will manage network clearance for broadcast materials and disseminate information to Marketing and Production teams, disputing and negotiating when needed. They will maintain accurate and organized digital files of every production, including data tracking in Airtable, and ownership of third party rights clearances and rights management tracking.
\nIn addition, the Senior Business Affairs Lead will maintain relationships with key rights holders, agencies, managers and attorneys in the entertainment community. They will also manage team members, as needed based on project by project resourcing strategy.
\nThe ideal candidate will have 15+ years of marketing/advertising/production counseling with a successful track record of negotiating, drafting and closing deals. They will have experienced with union and non-union productions, branded partnerships, interactive and/or social landscapes. Deep working expertise around music licensing, including relationships with rights holders, is preferred.
\nThe Senior Business Affairs Lead will be an expert-level ability to manage urgent deadlines and a variety of tasks while remaining solution oriented, and have a keen attention to detail. They will be collaborative, momentum creator who’s always learning and is keen to drive positive outcomes via strategic problem solving.
