      <Description><![CDATA[<p>As an Associate Technical Program Manager supporting our USG Government Technical Program Management team, you will be a key contributor to ensuring the successful execution of spacecraft programs. You&#39;ll apply systems thinking to complex technical challenges, write clear and rigorous documentation, and bring order to ambiguity across multiple engineering and stakeholder interfaces.</p>
<p>Your work will span across systems engineering, spacecraft integration, program planning, and cross-functional coordination,focusing on building technically sound, organized, and repeatable delivery paths.</p>
<p>This is an excellent opportunity for a first- or second-year aerospace engineer, systems engineer, or technical contributor seeking to move into a hybrid systems/program role while staying close to the engineering and architecture of space systems.</p>
<p>As an Associate position at Astranis, you will serve as a process and structure amplifier,identifying where organization, documentation, or systems rigor is missing and proactively closing the gap.</p>
<p>Key responsibilities include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Owning and managing key systems engineering artifacts (ICDs, requirements traceability, CONOPS documents, integration plans) to support execution of USG spacecraft programs.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Driving the creation, version control, and delivery of key program documentation for internal and customer-facing use.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Maintaining and updating system-level schedules and technical deliverables in coordination with spacecraft engineering leads.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Tracking and managing program requirements, subsystem interfaces, and key milestones, escalating gaps, dependencies, or misalignments across teams.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Supporting risk identification and mitigation across hardware, software, and operations workstreams.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Coordinating and leading regular technical milestone reviews, including PDRs, CDRs, TRRs, and customer-facing reporting.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Partnering with mission engineering and subsystem leads to validate spacecraft performance against mission requirements.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Managing configuration and documentation control for all technical program assets.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Assisting with internal program review prep and customer briefings with rigor, clarity, and a focus on technical detail.</li>
</ul>
<p>Requirements include:</p>
<ul>
<li>1+ year of technical engineering experience in aerospace (e.g., systems, avionics, GNC, propulsion, integration &amp; test, mission operations).</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or a similar technical field.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Familiarity with end-to-end spacecraft systems and how subsystems interact in space-based environments.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Excellent written communication skills and ability to structure and drive technical documentation.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Strong organizational skills,able to bring structure to technical chaos.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>U.S. Citizenship required (due to government program access requirements).</li>
</ul>
<p>Bonus requirements include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Experience with U.S. government space programs (e.g., DoD, NRO, NASA).</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Familiarity with Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, and configuration management tools.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Exposure to requirements management tools like DOORS, Jama, or Flow.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Leadership in technical clubs, university projects, or capstone systems design efforts.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of MIL-STD or other government systems engineering standards.</li>
</ul>
