As the Shared Services Manager, you will be required to manage the day-to-day delivery of the Security and Cleaning teams at a high-profile Shopping Centre in the Heart of Worcester. You will be responsible for managing the delivery of the contract in line with company policies and procedures, managing all aspects of the ABM colleagues, ensuring all SIA licences and vetting for security teams are in place and updated accordingly, and building and maintaining a team that has the skills and diversity to deliver their tasks.
\nKey responsibilities include managing the delivery of the contract, managing all aspects of the ABM colleagues, ensuring all SIA licences and vetting for security teams are in place and updated accordingly, building and maintaining a team, completing budget forecasts and managing all costs, ensuring high standards are achieved at all times, providing professional support to the business and client, controlling the delivery of the staff rosters, completing payroll and correct manning levels, leading and advising the team in managing absence and holiday records, carrying out daily audits to ensure high standards of cleanliness and a safe/secure environment, managing recruitment, induction training, developing and retraining of staff, ensuring all staff employed by ABM are competent to carry out their role, ensuring adequate quality performance measures are adhered to, conducting quality audits to ensure service delivery adheres to the requirements of ISO9001, planning any training required, prioritising all incidents, ensuring strict compliance to the Data Protection Act and associated regulations, delivering excellent leadership, communication and motivation to the site-based team, ensuring objectives, performance reviews and Toolbox Talks are completed on a monthly basis, leading the team in the identification of training needs, ensuring accurate site records are maintained at all times, managing the incident and accident reporting procedures, ensuring all assignment instructions and risk assessments are updated and meet the needs of the site specifics, completing all company paperwork as required, conducting return to work interviews and performing absence management processes as required, ensuring all team members carry out their duties in a correct and timely manner in accordance with the cleaning specification and to BICS standards, supporting the client's environmental objectives, managing maintenance activities and the correct/safe usage of all equipment on site, ensuring all team members are familiar with and adhere to the company's and client's onsite health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring sufficient staff and equipment are available to meet all events requirements, ensuring regular communication and engagement sessions are in place, ensuring welfare needs of all team members are addressed in a prompt and expedient way, fostering and maintaining excellent relationships with all parties on site, ensuring we maintain a 'one team' approach with the facilities management team, ensuring all items of expenditure are to be either agreed and approved by the client in an open book format, ensuring that all administration requirements of the client are met correctly, attending the monthly management meeting with Facilities Management and ABM General Manager, promoting the ABM and Client brand at all times, undertaking any reasonable duties as requested to meet the needs of the client and ABM Support Services.
