      <Description><![CDATA[<p>We&#39;re seeking a Product Development Engineer - Interior Trim to join our team. As a key member of our Product Development team, you&#39;ll be responsible for the design and release of Cockpit and Trim applications for programs throughout all phases of the product development process. This includes design, development, validation, and release of automotive systems, subsystems, and components for FSS/Build-To-Print Suppliers for assigned programs.</p>
<p>Key responsibilities include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Designing and developing interior trim components, including instrument panels, consoles, and related components</li>
<li>Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets company-specific benchmarks and customer requirements</li>
<li>Translating customer, regulatory, and product requirements into engineering targets</li>
<li>Monitoring suppliers and analyzing customer feedback through Ford&#39;s systems</li>
<li>Responsible for parts incorporation at the Assembly Plant</li>
<li>Supporting suppliers and assembly departments with current production quality and manufacturing issues</li>
</ul>
<p>Requirements include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&#39;s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar degree</li>
<li>3+ years of experience in automotive cockpit and trim applications</li>
<li>3+ years of experience in launch, root cause analysis for design/manufacturing issues, and quick implementation of corrective actions</li>
<li>1+ years experience using CAD</li>
</ul>
<p>Nice to have:</p>
<ul>
<li>Experience in the use of Design Tools (CATIA/Teamcenter/Digital Buck/GD&amp;T/RSS Studies/DFMEA)</li>
<li>Proficient in the use Analytical Tools (CAE/Moldflow)</li>
<li>Experience with Complex Systems, Injection Molding, and Secondary Tooling</li>
<li>Ability to compile data in the form of a decision matrix, report summary, etc. to be presented to Program and Interior Management Team</li>

<p>This position is a salary grade 5 and ranges from $63,480 to salary grade 8 $162,120. Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate&#39;s skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility, and competitive market value.</p>
