Resiliency Engineering ensures that all new and existing features and functionality that Cloudflare offers can be managed at scale and meet the needs of our massively growing customer base.</p>\n<p>The Infrastructure Tooling Team within Resiliency Engineering is responsible for defining, building and supporting tools and services used across Cloudflare to manage its infrastructure. These tools enable both Cloudflare’s daily operation and its relentless growth.</p>\n<p>What you&#39;ll do</p>\n<p>In this role you’ll have an opportunity to work on our internal infrastructure control plane application “Zinc”. Zinc is a Rust application that is used to manage our global fleet of servers and network devices. Zinc answers every device’s question: what am I, what do I do? The service is high performance, highly available, and is special in that it also shares few dependencies with most other Cloudflare services, since most systems have a dependency on Zinc.</p>\n<p>Your work on Zinc will directly affect the efficiency and resilience of Cloudflare&#39;s vast global server and network infrastructure.
