AVL List GmbH, the world's leading company for the development, simulation, and testing of drive systems, is building a new Shared Service Center in Hungary.

You will execute preparatory monthly payroll processes for payroll accounting for our Austrian locations, support a smooth end-to-end payroll process, maintain and manage changes in the employee lifecycle, and be the first point of contact to answer simple questions from employees about their payslips and expense reports.

You will also prepare reports and evaluations, close cooperation with internal HR interfaces as well as accounting and controlling in Austria, support in ensuring a smooth billing process, and participate in projects for process improvement and digitization in the Shared Service Center.

Requirements:

• Relevant previous experience as a payroll accountant (knowledge of Austrian regulations is an advantage)
• Completed commercial training (high school diploma, vocational school or comparable) and specialist examination in payroll accounting
• Confident handling of MS Office
• Ideally experience with SAP HCM
• Very good written and spoken German skills (at least B2+), good knowledge of English
• Accuracy, reliability, and a high sense of responsibility
• Enjoyment of teamwork in a structured, service-oriented environment
