This role represents the highest level of hands-on technical leadership within the delivery organisation, requiring deep platform expertise, strong architectural judgment, and consistent execution in complex, enterprise, B2B environments.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading end-to-end technical execution for Salesforce CX solutions, from design through deployment and ongoing production support
• Serving as the technical authority for Manufacturing Cloud implementations, ensuring scalable forecasting, agreements, and revenue visibility solutions
• Owning code quality, design decisions, and adherence to Salesforce best practices, security standards, and architecture guidelines
• Remaining hands-on with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, integrations, and complex business logic
• Driving proactive production support by troubleshooting issues, performing root-cause analysis, and implementing long-term fixes
• Partnering with Product Owners and business stakeholders to deliver agreed scope, timelines, and measurable business outcomes
• Providing technical mentorship through code reviews, design guidance, and best-practice coaching without formal people management responsibility
• Identifying technical risks, performance bottlenecks, and integration challenges early and leading resolution efforts
• Supporting estimation, sprint planning, release readiness, and post-release stabilisation activities

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Mandatory hands-on experience with Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud in a production B2B environment
• 6-7+ years of progressive Salesforce experience with deep expertise in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
• Proven experience operating as a Development Lead or Technical Lead while remaining hands-on
• Strong Salesforce development expertise including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Salesforce Flows
• Demonstrated experience supporting and stabilising production Salesforce environments, including incident resolution and root-cause analysis
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security architecture, governor limits, and performance optimisation
• Experience designing and supporting integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware such as MuleSoft
• Experience delivering Experience Cloud solutions for partners or customers in a B2B context
• Nice to have experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2B or B2C) and end-to-end commerce flows
• Nice to have exposure to Salesforce CRM Analytics / Reporting / CX analytics tools
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex business problems into scalable technical solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to influence technical direction, drive standards, and mentor peers without formal authority
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Gearset, Copado, or similar)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience
