Our dynamic organisation allows you to work across functional business pillars, contributing your ideas, experiences, diverse thinking, and a strong mindset.</p>\n<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>\n<p>The Functional Lead – Commercial (Retail) is responsible for driving end-to-end solution design, process optimisation, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Commercial/SD processes within a retail environment. This role acts as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and the SAP technical teams, ensuring that commercial processes are aligned with business goals, industry best practices, and S/4HANA capabilities.</p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Solution Design &amp; Delivery</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead design workshops for Order-to-Cash (O2C), pricing, promotions, retail master data, and integration with POS/e-commerce systems.</li>\n<li>Translate business requirements into functional specifications for S/4HANA.</li>\n<li>Drive the configuration of SAP SD and retail-related commercial processes.</li>\n<li>Ensure solutions adhere to SAP best practices, industry standards, and enterprise architecture.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Implementation &amp; Project Execution</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the SAP S/4HANA Commercial workstream through design, build, testing, training, and go-live.</li>\n<li>Create and maintain configuration documents, functional specs, test scripts, and user manuals.</li>\n<li>Manage integration with SAP CAR, SAP Retail, SAP MM, finance (FI), and third-party retail systems (OMS, POS, WMS).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Business Partnering</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work closely with merchandising, sales, supply chain, finance, and store operations teams.</li>\n<li>Provide expert guidance to business stakeholders on process improvements and retail-specific commercial flows.</li>\n<li>Facilitate UAT sessions and support end users during stabilisation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Support &amp; Continuous Improvement</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead issue resolution, root-cause analysis, and enhancement requests.</li>\n<li>Identify opportunities for automation, process optimisation, and feature adoption in S/4HANA.</li>\n<li>Stay updated on SAP S/4HANA innovations, retail trends, and localisation/legal requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Key Skills &amp; Experience Required</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Consulting experience: Experience in a top-tier consulting environment is necessary.</li>\n<li>Functional expertise: Have at least 12-15 years of experience in this area.</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of:</li>\n</ul>\n<p>+ SAP SD (Pricing, Credit Management, Billing, ATP, Deliveries).   + Retail processes: promotions, assortment, article master, POS integration, pricing hierarchy.   + Integration with SAP MM, FI, CAR, e-commerce, and OMS.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in greenfield, brownfield, or rollout S/4HANA projects.</li>\n<li>Industry experience: Experience in Retail, Fashion, Grocery, or Consumer Goods organisations.</li>\n<li>Understanding of multi-channel and omnichannel retail operations.</li>\n<li>Technical capabilities: Ability to write and review functional specifications for RICEFW objects.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of IDocs, APIs, and interface technologies.</li>\n<li>Basic familiarity with Fiori apps for O2C.</li>\n<li>Leadership &amp; soft skills: Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.</li>\n<li>Ability to lead functional teams and coordinate with cross-functional workstreams.</li>\n<li>Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex business problems.</li>\n<li>Project-related mobility/willingness to travel</li>\n<li>Education: SAP certification in SD or S/4HANA (preferred)</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-top:24px;font-size:13px;color:#666;\">XML job scraping automation by <a href=\"https://yubhub.co\">YubHub</a></p>","url":"https://yubhub.co/jobs/job_1f0fae55-400","directApply":true,"hiringOrganization":{"@type":"Organization","name":"Infosys Consulting - Europe","sameAs":"https://jobs.workable.com","logo":"https://logos.yubhub.co/view.com.png"},"x-apply-url":"https://jobs.workable.com/view/gLJQuUc2ZTUPwJDngKc7jJ/hybrid-sap-sd-functional-lead-retail-in-london-at-infosys-consulting---europe","x-work-arrangement":"hybrid","x-experience-level":"senior","x-job-type":"full-time","x-salary-range":null,"x-skills-required":["SAP SD","SAP S/4HANA","Retail processes","Integration with SAP MM, FI, CAR, e-commerce, and OMS","Consulting experience","Functional expertise","Leadership & soft skills"],"x-skills-preferred":["IDocs","APIs","Interface technologies","Fiori apps for O2C"],"datePosted":"2026-03-09T16:42:21.986Z","jobLocation":{"@type":"Place","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressLocality":"London"}},"employmentType":"FULL_TIME","occupationalCategory":"Consulting","industry":"Retail","skills":"SAP SD, SAP S/4HANA, Retail processes, Integration with SAP MM, FI, CAR, e-commerce, and OMS, Consulting experience, Functional expertise, Leadership & soft skills, IDocs, APIs, Interface technologies, Fiori apps for O2C"}]}
