Key Responsibilities: Design and develop electrical components and sub-systems for thermal battery and power dispatch applications Create schematics, PCB layouts, and technical specifications under the guidance of senior engineers and system architects Perform electrical analysis, simulation, and validation testing on assigned designs Contribute to the design of power electronics, control circuits, instrumentation, and protection systems Work closely with mechanical, software, and systems engineering teammates to integrate electrical designs into the broader product Troubleshoot electrical issues during prototype builds, bench testing, and field deployments Evaluate components and vendor technologies; make recommendations on part selection Ensure designs meet applicable safety standards, regulatory requirements, and internal performance targets Document designs, test procedures, and technical findings clearly Support prototype builds, bring-up, and field testing activities Keep current on developments in power electronics, grid integration, and renewable energy systems
