      <Description><![CDATA[<p>As a Radiation Effects Engineer at Astranis, you will be responsible for analyzing and testing candidate electronics for our spacecraft. This position requires hands-on experience validating parts for radiation environments specific to aerospace.</p>
<p>Your key responsibilities will include:</p>
<p>Supporting the design of fault-tolerant electrical systems for operating in a radiation environment Simulating and modeling the GTO and GEO radiation environments on PCBA designs Coordinating and running radiation testing campaigns to upscreen components Developing fault-tolerant systems &amp; operations into the spacecraft by working closely with the rest of the team Supporting other electrical design, bringup, and test activities Assisting in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring additional teammates to our rapidly-growing team</p>
<p>Requirements:</p>
<p>Bachelor of Science degree in nuclear engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or equivalent technical field A passion for hardware development, including working in a fast-paced environment and hands-on design and development Experience with electrical design Experience designing and testing for radiation effects Experience in testing analog and digital circuits Experience with fault-tolerant high reliability systems US Citizenship or Green Card</p>
<p>Bonus:</p>
<p>Experience developing electrical designs in space or other high-radiation environments Experience with the Geostationary radiation environment (TID, SEE, DDD) Experience running tests at radiation labs Experience with designing dosimeter circuits ECAD + MCAD Experience (Altium, Solidworks)</p>

      <Description><![CDATA[<p>As the Team Lead for the Power Electronic Engineering Team, you will play a critical role in building and leading a team of Power Electronics engineers. You&#39;ll support the team in pushing the boundary of what is possible in a geo-synchronous spacecraft design and enable performance in space that has not been realised to date.</p>
<p>Your responsibilities will include: Directly managing and growing a team of junior and senior power engineers Collaborating with a broad and multidisciplinary team to define the spacecraft power requirements and architectures Overseeing the design, build, and implementation of the power converters and systems Managing a detailed schedule to ensure that our power converters and systems development is in sync with the overall program schedule Driving power converter design, specification, component selection, circuit board design, implementation, verification, board bring-up, and debugging Supporting in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring additional teammates to our rapidly-growing team Supporting the production and mission operations teams on the build and in-flight use of our power converter hardware Driving the growth of the power team through recruiting, interviewing, and hiring additional teammates to our rapidly-expanding team</p>
<p>Requirements include: B.S. or higher in electrical engineering, or similar technical degree 5+ years of professional experience with fast-paced product design cycles 5+ years of board level experience designing power electronics hardware from concept through production A passion for hardware development, including working in a fast-paced environment and hands-on design and development Demonstrated ability to design, build, and test hardware from scratch Demonstrated ability to build and manage teams of engineers and communicate clearly with other disciplines US Citizenship or Green Card</p>
