Your key responsibilities will include:

Supporting the design of fault-tolerant electrical systems for operating in a radiation environment Simulating and modeling the GTO and GEO radiation environments on PCBA designs Coordinating and running radiation testing campaigns to upscreen components Developing fault-tolerant systems & operations into the spacecraft by working closely with the rest of the team Supporting other electrical design, bringup, and test activities Assisting in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring additional teammates to our rapidly-growing team

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science degree in nuclear engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or equivalent technical field A passion for hardware development, including working in a fast-paced environment and hands-on design and development Experience with electrical design Experience designing and testing for radiation effects Experience in testing analog and digital circuits Experience with fault-tolerant high reliability systems US Citizenship or Green Card

Bonus:

Experience developing electrical designs in space or other high-radiation environments Experience with the Geostationary radiation environment (TID, SEE, DDD) Experience running tests at radiation labs Experience with designing dosimeter circuits ECAD + MCAD Experience (Altium, Solidworks)

Base Salary $120,000-$165,000 USD

Requirements include: B.S. or higher in electrical engineering, or similar technical degree 5+ years of professional experience with fast-paced product design cycles 5+ years of board level experience designing power electronics hardware from concept through production A passion for hardware development, including working in a fast-paced environment and hands-on design and development Demonstrated ability to design, build, and test hardware from scratch Demonstrated ability to build and manage teams of engineers and communicate clearly with other disciplines US Citizenship or Green Card
