What You’ll Be Doing:

• Owning the product strategy and roadmap for Ansys developer tools, including PyAnsys libraries, APIs, MCP connectors, SDKs, and platform integrations.

• Defining and maintaining a cohesive vision for developer tooling across multiple product lines, ensuring alignment with Ansys and Synopsys strategies.

• Establishing and evangelizing standards for developer experience, API design, documentation, and lifecycle management to ensure consistency and ease of use.

• Partnering with engineering, architecture, and platform teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented developer tools.

• Driving adoption, satisfaction, and improvement initiatives for developer tools by tracking metrics, identifying addressing friction points, and engaging with customers and partners.

• Guiding integrations with external platforms (such as NVIDIA Omniverse), ensuring technical soundness, scalability, and alignment with ecosystem goals.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (product managers, DevOps, documentation, developer advocacy, field teams) to deliver end-to-end solutions and support real-world use cases.

• Leading the creation of technical enablement assets including white papers, application notes, developer documentation, webinars, demos, and workshops.

• Align internal teams around shared goals, clear ownership boundaries, and a cohesive vision for developer experience, driving organizational efficiency and collaboration.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience); advanced degree preferred.

• 5+ years of combined experience in engineering, CAE simulations, or software product management (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

• Strong understanding of APIs, SDKs, developer tooling, REST/gRPC interfaces, Python ecosystems, and open-source workflows.

• Demonstrated programming abilities in one or more languages: Python, Java, .NET, C++, Python preferred.

• Experience working with software engineers and architects on technically complex products or projects.

• Ability to occasionally work irregular hours to support international events and audiences.

• Experience with script-based customization of engineering processes and simulation workflows.

• Familiarity with NVIDIA Omniverse or other emerging developer platforms is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate business value of technical innovations to diverse stakeholders.
