<p>Responsibilities:</p>

<li>Develop and maintain calibration DVM&#39;s and DVP&amp;R using in-vehicle or dynamometer calibration data as appropriate</li>
<li>Provide leadership to vehicle programs for the resolution of transmission calibration issues</li>
<li>Assist in the development of software and control system requirements</li>
<li>Support for quality investigations</li>
<li>Embrace working in a team environment of calibrators working towards common approaches and best practices</li>
<li>Collaborate with engineers to develop control systems and calibration approaches for future programs, including new hybrid architectures</li>
<li>Perform analysis of quality data (warranty and customer satisfaction surveys) and connected vehicle information to drive quality improvements for current and future products</li>
<li>Develop and monitor the use of connected data tools/dashboards to identify trends and generate quality action plans</li>
</ul>
<p>Qualifications:</p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Mechanical engineering, or related field</li>
<li>2+ years&#39; experience in automotive calibration</li>
<li>1+ years of experience with MS Office toolset proficiency</li>
<li>Working knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and software fundamentals</li>
<li>Experience using/interpreting C-based software</li>
<li>Experience with automotive CAN communication networks and analysis</li>
<li>Must be able to travel domestically and internationally (6-8 weeks)</li>
</ul>

<li>Master of Science Degree in Electrical/Mechanical engineering, or related field</li>
<li>4+ years&#39; experience in automotive calibration</li>
<li>2+ years of experience with MS Office toolset proficiency</li>

      <Description><![CDATA[<p>We&#39;re seeking a skilled HIL Software Validation Engineer to join our team at Ford Motor Company. As a member of our Core Vehicle Controls Software team, you will be responsible for validating propulsive controls. Your work will involve developing robust verification methods, writing automated test scripts (Python), supporting test execution, and demonstrating results through data analysis and reporting.</p>
<p>In this role, you will test Ford&#39;s latest powertrain control strategies in-vehicle and/or in a Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) environment. This is an exciting and challenging environment as Ford Motor Company continues to grow the amount of development and validation using analytical methods.</p>
<p>Responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Perform Software Validation testing, analysis, and reporting for production software on either HIL or in vehicle</li>
<li>Report issues using automated reporting systems such as JIRA</li>
<li>Store and retain documents and test records according to established Ford guidelines</li>
<li>Implement new or updated design verification methods (DVMs) into the validation process</li>
<li>Develop automated validation methods using Python and MATLAB</li>
