As a Lead Operator on our production team, you will play a critical role in setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing production
• Run up and shut down production facilities, including product changeover activities
• Clean and decontaminate equipment
• Maintain housekeeping of the workplace
• Drive forklifts
• Fill and take over tank wagons
• Conduct routine analytics and take samples
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs with the technical team
• Document and communicate work results during shift handovers

As a Lead Operator, you will also support an assigned area within production by performing operator duties, assisting in training new peer operators, and supporting operators by prepping and coordinating materials for successful shift changeovers.

In addition, you will contribute to production optimization in assigned area, work cross-departmentally on projects, and participate in Continuous Improvement activities to support the site's scorecard, fulfill safety expectations, and satisfy internal/external customers' needs.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be willing to work overtime as required, based on production demands

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates degree in Technical trade, Business, Communications or Science field
• 3 years hand-on operating experience and 5 years of experience in a government regulated, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or standard operating procedures (SOP) environment
• Proficient knowledge of PSS, PSS Advancement, Integrated Work System, World Class Manufacturing, Toyota Production System or similar work system

The successful candidate will have 3+ years of experience in mechanical design/development of high-volume consumer electronic products, good knowledge of plastic, moldflow analysis, injection tooling, injection molding, assembly process and defect analysis, and skillfully use 3D modeling and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Support internal and external databases to build cost and CO2e assessment models that will establish a design for sustainability.
• Review the sustainable solution's feasibility from internal and external, lead the engineering qualification for Logitech PWS products at an ME component level.
• Support close technical relationships with suppliers to identify best CO2 saving solutions, including emerging technologies that provide CO2e improvements.
• Second source of mechanical-related parts qualification for sustainability.
• Communication with other teams is also required to ensure the schedule, cost and performance of the project.

Key Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design/development of high-volume consumer electronic products.
• Good knowledge of plastic, moldflow analysis, injection tooling, injection molding, assembly process and defect analysis.
• Skillfully use 3D modeling and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with the quality tools such as DOE, FMEA, PSS, and Tolerance Analysis.
• Good understanding of risk management.
• Advanced Knowledge of quality tools such as DFMEA, DFMA, PSS, and Tolerance Analysis.
• Taking initiative in the job.
• Creative and self-motivated.
• Good command of English writing and speaking, and the ability to make a file for presentations.

In addition, skills and behaviors as below could be a plus:

• Fluent in English speaking.
• Rich experience in moldflow simulation, Injection modeling/tooling and Stamping tooling.
• Experience in a foreign-funded company.
• Outstanding 3D modeling
