<p>We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Project Management and Business Analysis Lead - Americas.</p>
<p>The Project Management &amp; Business Analysis Lead drives regulatory reporting and RWA programmes for the Americas, covering both change delivery and ongoing maintenance. The role supports Basel III reforms and other regulatory developments impacting calculations, data sourcing, processes and submissions across the US and Latin America, with additional alignment to PRA and local regulatory expectations.</p>
<p>Working with Finance Operations, SMEs, Technology and Business Partners, you&#39;ll define and manage requirements, plans, risks, testing, training and implementation. You&#39;ll provide clear governance reporting to senior stakeholders and ensure delivery is on time, within scope and budget.</p>
<p>You&#39;ll also help manage operational and reporting risk by documenting and embedding controls, securing approvals from control stakeholders, and leading audit/assurance engagement.</p>
<p>This role helps ensure HSBC meets prudential regulatory expectations across the Americas through accurate reporting, well-controlled processes and timely delivery of regulatory change.</p>
<p>Main activities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Deliver high quality, detailed business requirements, process design documentation, cost-benefit analysis, and clear choice estimations.</li>
<li>Translating requirements into project plans and leading the project team and working groups</li>
<li>Validate the integrity and quality of the inputs and data sources used for the regulatory reporting process.</li>
<li>Monitor progress of data quality issue remediation plans</li>
<li>Identifying initiatives to establish a more effective control environment to support integrity of the results produced to ensure it can withstand reviews performed by senior managers and auditors (internal and external)</li>
<li>Adhere to project management methodologies and manage projects in accordance with Group Standards.</li>
</ul>
<p>They may be required to manage multiple projects involving interaction with several business areas.</p>
<p>Requirements:</p>
<ul>
<li>Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent business experience in a related field</li>
<li>MBA, CA, CWA, CS, CPA, CFA or Project Management Certificate is a plus.</li>
<li>Overall experience in Basel Capital Requirements Calculations / Risk Weighted Assets (RWA), specially derivatives (CCR)</li>
<li>Data management and analysis skills</li>
<li>Have a solid knowledge of project lifecycle and methodologies, especially Agile.</li>
<li>Should have between 5 and 7 years combined experience in technology, project management, banking, and/or finance.</li>
</ul>
<p>Treasury operations and / or Capital, Liquidity and Interest Rate Risk Management is desirable.</p>
<ul>
<li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical and/or non-technical projects.</li>
<li>Strong facilitation and leadership skills.</li>
<li>Strong analytical, interpersonal, presentation, written &amp; verbal communication skills.</li>
<li>Experience of working with colleagues cross-border in a multinational organisation is desirable.</li>
<li>Confidence working with staff including the highest levels of management.</li>
<li>Financial product knowledge</li>

      <Description><![CDATA[<p><strong>About this role</strong></p>
<p>The mission of the Risk and Quantitative Analysis (RQA) function is to help BlackRock manage its fiduciary and enterprise risks and provide independent oversight. The Enterprise Risk team within RQA oversees those risks which directly impact the corporate entity (i.e. BlackRock, Inc., or one of its subsidiaries), rather than the fiduciary risks assumed by funds/clients, such as investment risks and counterparty risks.</p>
<p>The Global Model Risk Management function within Enterprise Risk team is responsible for developing the firm-wide Model Risk Management framework and the implementation of the framework across the firm. Key responsibilities of the team include performing independent review of model risk related activities across the firm, working with the model owners and proving oversight and assessment of their model risk procedures to ensure that they are comprehensive, rigorous and effective and follow the firm-wide and regulatory requirements.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Assist with the implementation of the firm-wide Model Risk Management Policy.</li>
<li>Support the execution of governance activities including activities covered by relevant sub-committees of the Enterprise Risk Committee (ERC).</li>
<li>Drive operational efficiency through process improvements or automation (i.e. tracking risk metrics, issues, performance issues, errors, internal audit findings and any issues raised by regulators, managing incidents and risk &amp; control issues.</li>
<li>Promote the development and implementation of the model risk management activities in the model risk management system in compliance with the Policies and regulatory guidelines.</li>
<li>Prepare report on the status of Model risk to the appropriate risk management oversight committees on a periodic basis and as required.</li>
<li>Responding to Model related inquiries from regulators or auditors.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Knowledge/Experience/ Competencies</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Minimum of 3 years’ works experience in the financial industry.</li>
<li>Undergraduate/ Master’s in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Financial or Engineering.</li>
<li>Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Ability to draft governance documents and committee materials with clarity and precision</li>
<li>Experience in quantitative Model reviews or process improvements, change management or project lifecycle management</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and attention to details.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously and can prioritize and escalate as appropriate</li>
<li>Programming experience in one or more environments such as R, Python and SQL</li>
<li>Proven experience working on M365 tools (specifically Excel &amp; PowerPoint) and platform such as Power Automate, Power BI and Copilot Studio</li>
