<p>The Early Career Talent Acquisition team is looking for an Associate level recruiter to help drive and deliver the Early Careers recruitment strategy, building relationships with internal clients and external candidates and providers, serving as a talent scout for the firm.</p>
<p>Our objective is to source and deliver exceptional entry-level talent to the firm across a broad spectrum of roles across UK, Europe, Middle East &amp; Africa (EMEA). This is accomplished through engagement initiatives; marketing campaigns; utilizing technology to connect with candidates, curating talent pools; and developing candidate screening and selection methods to cast a wide net for talent and hire the most suitable diverse talent.</p>
<p>The Role</p>
<p>Our recruiters are part of a small and close-knit team reporting to the Head of EMEA Early Careers based in Edinburgh, working in collaboration with the broader global Campus function. The recruiters work with senior leaders in the business, HR business partners, and Talent Management colleagues with responsibility for the end-to-end talent attraction and recruitment process for Technology hiring. The recruiters will also contribute to the planning and delivery of insight events and the Summer Internship, Quant Masters, and Apprenticeship Programmes</p>
<p>Specific responsibilities will include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Driving the end-to-end technology recruiting process</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Understanding the needs of the business to design and execute a recruiting process to attract and assess a strong pipeline of diverse candidates</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Developing strong relationships with key business stakeholders, the global campus team and other HR colleagues</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Design and execution of in-house and external events and programmes across the region</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Ownership of data management and reporting for relevant business areas</li>
</ul>
<p>The successful candidates will be creative, flexible and solutions oriented, a great team player with the ability to drive projects to completion and build relationships.</p>
<p>About you</p>
<ul>
<li>Demonstrable passion for Early Careers recruiting with experience in a fast-paced Early Careers recruitment function</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Previous experience hiring volume Technology roles</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Good understanding of the Early Careers talent market in the UK and across the EMEA Region</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communications skills</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Ability to travel if required, to EMEA destinations</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Experience in a client-facing role with strong cross team and firm relationship building skills, capable of adapting style of communication to the audience</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Demonstrated problem solver with strong attention to detail</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. Working independently, while also acting collaboratively as a great team member in our global group</li>

<p>Responsibilities Identity strategy &amp; architecture: Define the end-to-end identity vision for consumer Copilot and MAI, covering user/account models, sign-in, session management, token issuance/validation, service-to-service auth, and cross-device experiences. Cross-surface platform leadership: Drive common authentication/SSO patterns and SDKs for Windows, Edge, web, iOS, and Android; ensure seamless UX and consistent security controls across consumer surfaces and modalities. Collaborate with product, engineering, security, privacy, and identity teams across Copilot, MAI and IDNA to drive improvements in authentication, identity, and security. Influence technical direction and best practices across a large, distributed system, ensuring alignment and adoption of key initiatives. Establish, monitor, and continuously improve key authentication metrics across Copilot and MAI. Collaborate with engineering, product, and identity teams to align on a unified ground truth and leverage dashboards for ongoing measurement and root cause analysis Align with central Microsoft Account roadmaps, influence platform capabilities, and land them in Copilot and MAI consumer scenarios at scale. Define and document authentication patterns and requirements for AI-powered, agential flows. Ensure these patterns address novel risks, support secure delegation, and enable safe orchestration of actions across devices and services. Hands-on engineering: Ship secure, well-tested, maintainable code and frameworks that other teams can adopt quickly. Product mindset: Balance customer experience with consumer-grade security, privacy, and compliance expectations for Copilot. Work closely with globally distributed teams, managing effective communication, coordination, and project delivery across multiple time zones. Foster strong cross-regional partnerships to drive identity and authentication improvements at scale.</p>
<p>Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. <p>#MicrosoftAI Software Engineering IC6 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $163,000 – $296,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $220,800 – $331,200 per year.
