<p>The ideal candidate combines strong purchasing fundamentals with the drive to streamline procurement processes, support internal stakeholders, and deliver high-impact results in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.</p>
<p>Key responsibilities include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Executing and managing purchase orders (POs) for indirect spend categories, ensuring accuracy, timely delivery, and alignment with internal requirements.</li>
<li>Partnering with stakeholders across Engineering, Operations, Facilities, and IT to source and procure goods and services that meet cost, schedule, and quality expectations.</li>
<li>Negotiating pricing, terms, and lead times with suppliers to achieve optimal value and support budget objectives.</li>
<li>Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in the company&#39;s ERP system (Deltek Costpoint), including supplier data, PO tracking, and delivery schedules.</li>
<li>Supporting supplier qualification and onboarding for indirect vendors, ensuring compliance with Shield AI&#39;s standards and policies.</li>
<li>Collaborating cross-functionally to forecast indirect procurement needs and identify opportunities for process or cost improvements.</li>
<li>Partnering with finance and stakeholders to reconcile invoices, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely payment.</li>
<li>Supporting implementation of standard work and best practices for indirect procurement processes.</li>
</ul>
<p>Required qualifications include:</p>
<ul>
<li>2+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or sourcing, with a focus on indirect categories such as facilities, IT, software, or capital equipment.</li>
<li>Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and high-volume transactional work while maintaining attention to detail.</li>
<li>Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.</li>
<li>Experience with ERP systems (Deltek Costpoint preferred).</li>
<li>Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to partner effectively with internal teams and suppliers.</li>
</ul>
<p>Preferred qualifications include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-tech manufacturing environments.</li>
<li>Knowledge of FAR/DFARS or other compliance-driven procurement practices.</li>

<p>We&#39;re seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team, reporting to the Manager, Manufacturing Engineering. As a full-time member, you&#39;ll work from our facility in Los Angeles in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.</p>
<p><strong>Core responsibilities</strong></p>

<li>Develop new manufacturing processes</li>
<li>Assist with design decisions and provide manufacturing feedback to achieve high rate production and on-time delivery</li>

<li>Disposition rework and repairs during the manufacturing process</li>
