Responsibilities: Provide pragmatic, high-quality legal advice on a broad range of privacy, AI, and data protection matters, including Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and Privacy Impact Assessments, ensuring compliance with UK, EU, and applicable global laws. Engage directly with internal clients to identify data and privacy risks early, advising on compliant and commercially appropriate solutions. Collaborate closely with legal, policy, and operational stakeholders to design and implement effective privacy risk mitigation strategies across Europe. Support compliance activities as part of a global privacy function, contributing to enterprise-wide initiatives, products, and services. Track regulatory developments,particularly across the UK and EU,and support updates to internal standards, frameworks, and governance requirements as needed.

Qualifications: The minimum requirements we seek: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable guidance for a range of audiences. Qualification as a lawyer in England and Wales, with a current practising certificate. Typically, 3+ years’ post-qualification experience gained in a leading law firm or in-house within a large, complex organisation, advising on data protection matters or supporting privacy compliance strategy and implementation

Preferred qualifications: A genuine passion for privacy and for embedding privacy into the design of products and services. Experience conducting privacy, cyber, and/or AI impact assessments, with a solid understanding of data governance, compliance controls, and risk management. The ability to stay current and adaptable as data protection and AI regulations continue to evolve. Experience managing multiple, complex matters simultaneously, often against product development or delivery timelines. Strong commercial awareness, with the confidence to provide practical, business-oriented advice to product, design, engineering, and operational teams. Comfort engaging with senior stakeholders and executives. The ability to work independently while also thriving in collaborative, cross-functional, and globally distributed teams. Technical fluency and exposure to emerging technologies. Automotive industry experience IAPP certifications such as CIPP/E or CIPM

Our attorneys actively seek out our help and trust us to make their work better, faster, and more efficient. You'll step in as a dedicated project partner, owning complex and cross-functional initiatives from start to finish. Expect lots of variety, a fast-moving environment, and plenty of opportunities to learn and grow. You'll wear multiple hats and act as a true force multiplier for the team.

You'll partner closely with attorneys to provide hands-on project management support across a wide range of legal areas, including corporate, litigation, IP, regulatory, product, privacy, commercial, and employment. You'll support day-to-day corporate work like entity management, board and stockholder matters, corporate records, and compliance, and you'll help drive larger transactions and milestone moments when they come up. You'll own and help manage our patent and trademark portfolios and run the patent incentive program. You'll support product and regulatory work by helping manage licensing requirements, product compliance efforts, taking the lead on exams, audits, and due diligence, and driving new product development that benefits both our company and our customers.

A big part of the role is building better ways of working. You'll design and document new processes, fix ones that aren't working, and introduce tooling, automation, and reporting. You'll also explore and implement AI solutions to reduce manual work and scale our impact.

We're looking for someone with 8+ years of experience in legal project management or as a senior paralegal, with a mix of law firm and in-house experience, ideally at a technology company. Experience supporting complex work in corporate, litigation, IP, and/or regulatory areas is required, and experience in Fintech, financial services or a highly regulated tech environment is a plus.
