<li>A mechatronics, machining or engineering certificate or degree is a plus but not required.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.</li>
<li>Hydraulics and/or pneumatics knowledge is helpful but not necessary.</li>
<li>Good communication skills and ability to deal with customers professionally.</li>
<li>Ability to keep track of expenses and manage paperwork relating to maintenance completed.</li>

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will work alongside an experienced team of technicians to diagnose and repair plant equipment, reducing downtime and helping us achieve our goal of a circular economy. You will be responsible for carrying out plant upgrades and modifications, reporting work carried out through our computerised maintenance management system, and developing and implementing a programme of planned preventative maintenance and inspection. You will also be available for planned maintenance shutdown periods and liaise with external contractors on specific repairs/maintenance. Safety is our number one priority, so you will ensure H&amp;S standards are strictly maintained and all related documentation is completed.</p>
<p>To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience as a Mechanical/Multi-Skilled Engineer working in a process or production environment. An HNC/HND/C+G in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering is preferable but not essential, and you will need to have knowledge and practical experience of large Conveyors, Chain Drives, Hydraulics, material Compactors, Shredders, Overhead cranes and Pneumatics.</p>
<p>This is a full-time role, working a 3 shift rotation: Monday to Friday - 6-2pm, 2-10pm and 10pm-6am. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times. The salary for this role is up to £45,711 per annum, depending on experience.</p>
