      <Description><![CDATA[<p>We are looking for a R&amp;D CNC Machinist to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa, Ca. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, set-up, and operation of 5-axis CNC machines.</p>
<p>Key responsibilities include: Reading and interpreting technical blueprints. Set-up/operation of CNC multi-axis milling and multi-axis turning machines. Setup various work holding and fixture methods according to a setup sheet. Run and prove out new programs. Troubleshoot issues and make minor adjustments during the manufacturing process. Perform quality control both during and at completion of the manufacturing process. Help clean and maintain CNC equipment.</p>
<p>Required qualifications include: 4+ years experience as a machine setup/operator. Clear understanding of G and M code. Intermediate level of familiarity with multi-axis and 3D machining. Experience with 3+1 / 3+2 axis milling, live tooling lathes, mill-turns and/or multi task machines. Experience with Fanuc, Siemens or Brother controls. Intermediate level of familiarity with various alloys, metals, plastics, etc. Intermediate level of tooling and fixture experience. Intermediate level of GD&amp;T knowledge. Ability to take ownership of set-up and operation process from start to finish. Ability to adapt between R&amp;D and short production. Ability to multi-task. U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data.</p>
<p>Preferred qualifications include: 5-axis simultaneous set-up and operation experience. Experienced with navigating a CAD model to measure dimensions. Water Jet experience. 3D printing experience (FDM/SLA). CMM experience (PC-DIMIS).</p>
<p>The salary range for this role is $43-$54.80 USD per hour.</p>

      <Description><![CDATA[<p>The Air Dominance and Strike Mechanical Engineering Team is responsible for designing and integrating advanced hardware for missile platforms. As a Mechanical Engineer on this team, you will own the full development lifecycle, from concept generation to integration and flight test, ensuring high-performance, resilient, and scalable mechanical systems that meet the demands of complex, contested environments.</p>
<p>Your responsibilities will include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Owning designs from concept generation to real-world use, including avionics, mechanisms, thermal systems, fuel systems, and other general design tasks as required.</li>
<li>Developing and integrating hardware on unmanned air vehicles.</li>
<li>Using first principles physics as a basis for every decision.</li>
<li>Leading design reviews, running analysis, visiting vendors, defining and executing hardware test plans.</li>

<p>To be successful in this role, you will need:</p>

<li>A Bachelor&#39;s or Master&#39;s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.</li>
<li>3+ years of experience in mechanical design or engineering.</li>
<li>Experience designing mechanical parts (CAD - Siemens NX preferred).</li>
<li>Understanding of scalable manufacturing methods (machining, sheet metal, composites, 3D printing, injection moulding, etc).</li>
<li>General knowledge of manufacturing processes for composites, metal components, and plastics.</li>
<li>Background in first principles physics as a basis for every decision.</li>
<li>Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.</li>
</ul>
<p>Preferred qualifications include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Broad experience working across multiple mechanical engineering domains (e.g., mechanisms, thermal systems, avionics, fuel systems).</li>
<li>5+ years of experience in mechanical design or engineering.</li>
<li>Ability to adapt designs from metal components to composites, with a basic understanding of material trade-offs.</li>
<li>Knowledge of advanced manufacturing techniques for composites and plastics.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with composites and tool design, including familiarity with out-of-autoclave fabrication methods.</li>
