Required qualifications include: 4+ years experience as a machine setup/operator. Clear understanding of G and M code. Intermediate level of familiarity with multi-axis and 3D machining. Experience with 3+1 / 3+2 axis milling, live tooling lathes, mill-turns and/or multi task machines. Experience with Fanuc, Siemens or Brother controls. Intermediate level of familiarity with various alloys, metals, plastics, etc. Intermediate level of tooling and fixture experience. Intermediate level of GD&T knowledge. Ability to take ownership of set-up and operation process from start to finish. Ability to adapt between R&D and short production. Ability to multi-task. U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data.

Preferred qualifications include: 5-axis simultaneous set-up and operation experience. Experienced with navigating a CAD model to measure dimensions. Water Jet experience. 3D printing experience (FDM/SLA). CMM experience (PC-DIMIS).

The salary range for this role is $43-$54.80 USD per hour.

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design or engineering.
• Ability to adapt designs from metal components to composites, with a basic understanding of material trade-offs.
• Knowledge of advanced manufacturing techniques for composites and plastics.
• Hands-on experience with composites and tool design, including familiarity with out-of-autoclave fabrication methods.
• Experience in thermal & structural analysis.
