Your responsibilities will include: Directly managing and growing a team of junior and senior power engineers Collaborating with a broad and multidisciplinary team to define the spacecraft power requirements and architectures Overseeing the design, build, and implementation of the power converters and systems Managing a detailed schedule to ensure that our power converters and systems development is in sync with the overall program schedule Driving power converter design, specification, component selection, circuit board design, implementation, verification, board bring-up, and debugging Supporting in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring additional teammates to our rapidly-growing team Supporting the production and mission operations teams on the build and in-flight use of our power converter hardware Driving the growth of the power team through recruiting, interviewing, and hiring additional teammates to our rapidly-expanding team

Requirements include: B.S. or higher in electrical engineering, or similar technical degree 5+ years of professional experience with fast-paced product design cycles 5+ years of board level experience designing power electronics hardware from concept through production A passion for hardware development, including working in a fast-paced environment and hands-on design and development Demonstrated ability to design, build, and test hardware from scratch Demonstrated ability to build and manage teams of engineers and communicate clearly with other disciplines US Citizenship or Green Card

Bonus requirements include: Experience with photovoltaics Experience with Li-ion batteries and management systems Experience with magnetics in power electronics Radiation effects knowledge
