YubHub-native raw fields carry `x-` prefix.","jobs":[{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"JobPosting","identifier":{"@type":"PropertyValue","name":"YubHub","value":"job_cca49f61-2c0"},"title":"Senior CAD Engineer","description":"<p>As a Senior CAD Engineer at Astranis, you will be a leader in the design and configuration of our spacecraft and the documentation and processes used to transfer from design to production.</p>\n<p>You will develop, maintain and teach others about design methods and best practices, perform spacecraft-level design tasks such as waveguide routing and panel configuration, and manage spacecraft bills of material and change orders in conjunction with the vehicle engineering, production and supply chain teams.</p>\n<p>Key responsibilities include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Managing configuration of top-level spacecraft assemblies in CAD and creating and maintaining bills of material for assemblies to transfer to production</li>\n<li>Developing and documenting best practices for design</li>\n<li>Teaching and mentoring others in design and drawing best practices</li>\n<li>Managing the programs and procedures that govern how CAD interacts with PLM</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Requirements include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years of experience in a design role and expertise in mechanical CAD</li>\n<li>Experience with design and production of complex assemblies</li>\n<li>Robust knowledge of SolidWorks</li>\n<li>Working knowledge and experience in PDM Administration</li>\n<li>Mastery of GD+T and engineering drawings</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Bonus requirements include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Expertise of SolidWorks</li>\n<li>Experience in design of spaceflight components and/or vacuum compatible systems</li>\n<li>Experience designing and routing harnesses, waveguides and/or pipes</li>\n<li>Experience with surface modeling</li>\n<li>Experience with Arena</li>\n</ul>\n<p>We offer a compensation package that includes equity and robust benefits.
