<p>As a Senior Electrical Engineer on our Hardware Test team, you&#39;ll design and develop test systems that push our hardware to its limits. From custom PCBs and automated test sequences to electrical and mechanical test stands, you&#39;ll be at the forefront of ensuring the highest reliability in aerospace hardware.</p>
<p>Key responsibilities include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Leading the design, validation, and deployment of advanced test systems for V-BAT&#39;s critical components and subsystems</li>
<li>Architecting PCBs and test interfaces for power electronics, RF, and communication systems</li>
<li>Developing automated test sequences in Python, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and repeatability</li>
<li>Designing and integrating custom test fixtures, including relays, PLCs, PCBAs, and harnessing</li>
<li>Driving cross-functional design reviews, advocating for design-for-testability (DFT) improvements</li>
<li>Working hands-on with HASS, ESS, and HALT testing, validating performance in simulated harsh environments</li>
</ul>
<p>Required qualifications include:</p>
<ul>
<li>B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field</li>
<li>3+ years of industry experience in hardware design and test engineering</li>
<li>Deep expertise in electrical design, mechanical, and software engineering principles as applied to hardware test systems</li>
<li>Proven ability to design, implement, and validate multidisciplinary hardware systems in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment</li>
</ul>
<p>Preferred qualifications include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Proficiency in Python or another scripting language for test automation</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with PCB design tools (Altium, KiCAD, Eagle) and CAD software (SolidWorks, NX, CATIA)</li>
<li>Experience working in rugged, high-reliability industries like aerospace, defence, or automotive</li>
