<p>This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on sales experience within the e-commerce channel in a growing company, all while making a significant positive impact in the world of cocoa.</p>
<p>Here’s what you’ll learn:</p>
<p>Digital Marketing - How to prepare visual assets for paid social campaigns and coordinate with external media agencies.</p>
<p>The basics of Paid Search: analysing keywords, relevance and traffic to support smarter advertising decisions.</p>
<p>How to draft and review ad copy and creative materials to optimize campaign performance across channels.</p>
<p>Customer Relationship Management (CRM) - How to prepare and schedule email newsletters, including selecting segments and coordinating content.</p>
<p>How customer lifecycle stages work and how retention strategies (loyalty, incentives, postpurchase flows) are built.</p>
<p>How to help create product brochures for key seasonal or campaign moments.</p>
<p>Webshop Management - How to update webshop content and navigate Shopify CMS.</p>
<p>Planning and supporting the execution of seasonal campaigns like Sinterklaas, Christmas and Easter.</p>
<p>Collecting and interpreting basic webshop data to understand performance insights.</p>
<p>Marketplace Management (Bol.com) - How to activate products, check listings and ensure data accuracy.</p>
<p>How to optimise titles, descriptions, packshots and variations to drive visibility and conversion.</p>
<p>A basic understanding of ecommerce pricing (fees, fulfilment, margins).</p>
<p>Here’s what you’ll do:</p>
<p>Support the preparation of digital campaign visuals and coordinate delivery with our media agency.</p>
<p>Help draft ad copy and review creative materials for paid social and paid search.</p>
<p>Assist with creating and sending email newsletters to our Serious Friends (loyal customers).</p>
<p>Prepare a seasonal Easter brochure to support resellers with clear, complete product information.</p>
<p>Make sure seasonal products are correctly listed on Bol , including packshots, copy, pricing and content.</p>
<p>Support the research of loyalty opportunities for our B2R customers.</p>
<p>Help update homepage and collection tiles based on seasonal or new product campaigns.</p>
<p>Requirements</p>
<p>Job requirements:</p>
<p>You’re studying for a relevant HBO/university degree in Digital Marketing, Ecommerce, Communication or a related field.</p>
<p>You speak and write Dutch fluently (a must for Benelux-focused content).</p>
<p>You’re curious, hands-on, eager to learn and not afraid to test, try, fail and learn.</p>

<p>Starting on September 1st, you&#39;ll be part of our Tony&#39;s team for 6 months.</p>
<p>We are all about being more in person than apart; this means we offer flexibility but see each other in our Amsterdam office on average 3-4 days a week. More is fine!</p>
<p>You’ll be living in the Netherlands and enrolled at a Dutch educational institution during the entire internship.</p>

      <Description><![CDATA[<p>We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Marketing Science team. As a Data Analyst, you will be the analytical lead across growth marketing, registration, and website analytics, setting the measurement framework, driving analysis independently, and translating results into decisions stakeholders can act on.</p>
<p>Your day-to-day will involve owning analytical coverage across growth marketing, registration, and website, setting measurement frameworks, building scalable reporting, and driving the analytical roadmap for your domain. You will lead analysis on complex, ambiguous questions: incrementality testing, LTV and payback modeling, attribution deep dives, funnel decomposition, and cohort analysis.</p>
<p>You will build and own dbt models that encode business logic for your domain in a scalable, reusable way to power dashboards, reporting, and stakeholder self-serve. You will build and maintain Tableau dashboards that give marketing and leadership a clear, reliable view of performance across growth, registration, and web.</p>
<p>You will partner directly with marketing stakeholders to scope analytical problems, pressure-test interpretations, and make sure findings land as decisions, not just slide decks. You will use Claude fluently as a daily productivity layer, accelerating SQL, generating documentation, QA-ing work, and building faster analytical workflows.</p>
<p>You will mentor and raise the floor for junior analysts on the team. You will review their work, help them think through ambiguous problems, and set the standard for analytical quality. You will identify gaps before they become problems, from data quality and metric definitions to reporting coverage and stakeholder understanding. You will own the fix, not just the flag.</p>
<p>We are looking for someone with 4–8 years of experience in a data or analytics role, with hands-on experience in at least one marketing channel: paid search (preferred), paid social, TV/CTV, affiliates, direct mail, or similar. You should understand how that channel&#39;s data works, how it&#39;s structured, what the key metrics are, and how performance is measured and reported. Multi-channel experience is a strong plus.</p>
<p>You should have strong, proven SQL ability. You should write clean, efficient queries across complex schemas and build analytics logic others can maintain. Dbt experience, including owning models in production, is a strong plus. You should be proficient with Claude or similar AI tools for analytical work. <p><strong><strong>About this Team</strong></strong></p>
<p>We are hiring dedicated channel leaders to own and scale Paid Search or Paid Social globally. This leader will define channel strategy, oversee execution at scale, and partner cross-functionally to maximize incremental impact and long-term user value. These are high-ownership roles responsible for channel strategy, day-to-day execution, experimentation, and performance outcomes across a global portfolio.</p>
<p>You will partner closely with product, engineering, data science, finance, design, and broader marketing to connect out-of-product experiences to in-product journeys, improve conversion, and optimize for long-term value (LTV), not just top-of-funnel efficiency. This team thrives on rapid iteration, rigorous measurement, and creative problem solving, while keeping user value at the center of every decision.</p>
<p>This role is based in San Francisco. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees.</p>
<p><strong><strong>In this role, you will:</strong></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Own channel strategy and execution for either Paid Search or Paid Social, including planning, forecasting, budget pacing, and performance management across a global portfolio.</li>
</ul>

<li>Drive experimentation and incrementality measurement, defining hypotheses, designing tests (e.g., geo/holdout where feasible), and translating results into scalable playbooks.</li>
</ul>

<li>Optimize full-funnel performance, from acquisition through activation and retention, with a focus on durable unit economics (LTV/CAC, payback, cohort quality).</li>
</ul>

<li>Build and evolve performance systems, including reporting, decision frameworks, and operational processes that improve speed, quality, and repeatability.</li>

<li>Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, and data science to improve conversion journeys, measurement foundations, and growth tooling.</li>

<p><strong><strong>You might thrive in this role if you have:</strong></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>8+ years of experience in growth or performance marketing, ideally in high-growth tech and/or subscription products.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>6+ years of deep, hands-on experience owning Paid Search _or_ Paid Social at an operational and strategic level.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>A track record of launching, scaling, and optimizing paid programs at significant budget levels with clear performance outcomes.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Experience scaling global programs across multiple languages/regions with nuanced localization strategies.</li>
</ul>

<li>Strong analytical and measurement skills, including comfort with experimentation, incrementality concepts, and translating analysis into decisions.</li>

<li>Experience partnering cross-functionally (product, engineering, data science, finance) to ship improvements and build durable growth systems.</li>
