<p>In this role, you will be instrumental in implementing and continuously improving FMA processes across various vehicle systems and components, directly contributing to large projects that significantly impact company operations.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in design, manufacturing, and quality to proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate potential failure modes, thereby enhancing product reliability and customer satisfaction.</li>
<li>Develop, implement, and maintain FMA processes and methodologies, including DFMEAs (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), boundary diagrams, P-diagrams, RCLs, and Interface Tables.</li>
<li>Lead and participate in FMA workshops and reviews with cross-functional teams to identify potential failure modes and develop effective mitigation strategies.</li>
<li>Integrate FMA activities into the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch.</li>
<li>Monitor and analyze FMA process implementation to identify trends, prioritize risks, and drive continuous improvement.</li>
<li>Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to implement FMA recommendations and ensure their effectiveness.</li>
<li>Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in FMA and reliability engineering.</li>
<li>Foster a culture of proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement within the organization.</li>
<li>Travel up to 10% within North America.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>A Bachelor&#39;s degree in engineering, math, science or related.</li>
<li>3 or more years of experience in engineering or science, with a focus on FMA, reliability engineering, or related areas</li>
<li>Experience with problem-solving tools and techniques (e.g., 8D, 5Why, Ishikawa diagrams).</li>
<li>Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Science Engineering.</li>
<li>5 or more years of experience in engineering or science, with a focus on FMA, reliability engineering, or related areas</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience in automotive body design and release.</li>
<li>A passion for improving product quality, demonstrated by effectively communicating and presenting quality data.</li>
<li>Knowledge of GPDS (Global Product Development System).</li>
<li>Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt (DMAIC or DFSS).</li>
<li>Experience in a Quality and/or testing organization.</li>
<li>Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., AIAG FMEA Handbook v1, IATF 16949) and FMA tools like Magic Draw.</li>

<p>Salary grade 6 and ranges from $72,480-121,440. Salary grade 7 and ranges from $84,480-141,360. Salary grade 8 and ranges from $96,720-162,120.</p>

      <Description><![CDATA[<p>We&#39;re looking for a skilled Generator Systems Supervisor to join our team. As a Generator Systems Supervisor, you will provide technical system support throughout all phases of the vehicle program to ensure robust system engineering and program execution and performance. This position will provide the qualified candidate an opportunity to work in a global, fast-paced, fun team environment with exposure to several cross-functional areas including lead system engineering, Electric Vehicle systems, NVH, Vehicle Operations, Tier 1/2 Suppliers and Program Management.</p>
<p>Responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Lead Generator integration into existing and future electric and EREV vehicle architectures.</li>
<li>Lead the team to provide technical system support throughout all phases of the vehicle program to ensure robust system engineering and program execution and performance.</li>
<li>Lead to work with program team to understand the required functional and physical properties of a ebeam system</li>
<li>Lead on system DFMEA and manufacturing PFMEA</li>
<li>Lead and drive Tier 1 supplier to manage them deliver our programs on time with best cost/quality</li>
<li>Lead to work with Vehicle Engineering and Vehicle Controls team to ensure system / subsystem interfaces delivery.</li>
<li>Identifies, tracks, and resolves engineering issues.</li>
<li>Support program launches</li>
</ul>
<p>Qualifications:</p>
<ul>
<li>BS in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering or a related field require</li>
<li>5+ years of transmission or eDrive unit development, or Powertrain experience</li>
<li>5+ years experience in Microsoft tools</li>
<li>5+ years of CAD experience</li>
<li>Masters in product development or other Engineering degree preferred</li>
<li>Tools: Proficiency in MBSE tools, CAD/CAE simulation environments, and data analysis platforms.</li>
<li>Versed in UML and SysML modeling languages preferred</li>
<li>Basic software writing in Python or Groovy preferred</li>
<li>Model Based System Engineering development utilizing MagicDraw/3DX toolkit preferred</li>
<li>Experienced in analyzing a descriptive model to assist in complex decision making preferred</li>
<li>Prior experience in Systems design and processes</li>
<li>Proven delivery of balanced Quality/Cost/Weight/Function/Timing attributes for components or subsystems</li>
<li>Clear communication skills and highly motivated to exceed expectations in a constantly changing product landscape</li>
<li>Formal Systems Engineering knowledge to solve complex problems</li>
<li>Systems Engineering: Expertise in systems engineering principles, including P-diagrams, DFMEA, and functional safety.</li>
<li>Strong foundation in FMA processes and documentation</li>
<li>Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, electric motors, battery systems, and traditional ICE components.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Driveline controls / communication system</li>
<li>PPAP experience</li>
