      <Description><![CDATA[<p>As a Geo Hunter Account Executive in the Sports segment at Databricks, you will be responsible for selling Data &amp; AI to sports teams and organizations. Your goal will be to penetrate accounts quickly and demonstrate the value of our products to customers.</p>
<p>Key responsibilities include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Closing new customers and growing consumption</li>
<li>Communicating account strategy to Databricks Senior Leadership on a regular basis</li>
<li>Allocating Databricks resources to break into new accounts</li>
<li>Meeting with C-Level Executives to Practitioner level to understand how Databricks can make an impact on business outcomes</li>
<li>Exceeding activity, pipeline, and revenue targets</li>
</ul>
<p>To succeed in this role, you will need to have a passion for selling a highly technical product in the cloud, as well as 4+ years of experience with Open Source Technologies and build vs buy decision-making.</p>
<p>In addition, you will need to have a creative salesperson with a well-defined prospecting motion, sales experience within big data, Cloud, or SaaS sales, and proven years of experience exceeding sales quotas.</p>
