<p>As a Contract Manager at ABM UK, you will be responsible for ensuring the full delivery of all Customer Contracts within contractual guidelines and managing the Supervisory and engineering team to achieve target-driven performance requirements.</p>

<li>Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention.</li>

</ul>

      <Description><![CDATA[<p>Be part of driving positive change as a Safety &amp; Compliance Manager. This is a hybrid role covering our sites in Derby, Plymouth and Milton Keynes, with the flexibility to work from home or a local office where needed.</p>
<p>As a Safety &amp; Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all legal, contractual, health, safety, environmental and quality requirements across the sites. This includes carrying out safety inspections and compliance audits, producing regular reports for the Regional Manager, coordinating training, and promoting a positive health and safety culture.</p>
<p>Your core responsibilities will include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Monitoring and auditing site Health &amp; Safety compliance, reviewing data to ensure robust safeguards are in place.</li>
<li>Supporting Site Managers with Health &amp; Safety training and communicating policy updates for effective implementation.</li>
<li>Collecting and analysing incident and audit data, reporting trends and findings to site management teams.</li>
<li>Maintaining and updating Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and ensuring compliance with new policies.</li>
<li>Auditing contractor and driver inductions regularly, supporting on-site monitoring and reporting.</li>
<li>Ensuring vehicles, plant, and machinery meet legislative standards and statutory inspections are completed.</li>
<li>Investigating accidents and incidents, producing reports, corrective actions, and sharing lessons learned promptly.</li>
<li>Attending meetings, liaising with the Compliance team, supporting ISO accreditations, and sharing best practice.</li>
</ul>
<p>Requirements:</p>

<li>NEBOSH General Certificate qualification as a minimum is essential.</li>
<li>Previous experience in a Health and Safety role, preferably within the waste industry.</li>
<li>Proven management experience with strong analytical skills, able to work in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer literate.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills, organised with the ability to prioritise workloads and remain calm under pressure.</li>
<li>Full UK driving licence and availability for on-call emergencies required.</li>
