      <Description><![CDATA[<p>We are seeking a highly skilled Applications Engineer to join our team. As a Staff Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the coordination and execution of all technical activities throughout the lifecycle of a sales opportunity. You will work independently, results-oriented, across teams and organizations.</p>
<p><strong>What you&#39;ll do</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Leads the coordination and execution of all technical activities throughout the lifecycle of a sales opportunity, including technical discovery, negotiation of technical success criteria, product presentations, demonstrations, and evaluations.</li>
<li>Acts as a credible hands-on expert in the customer&#39;s application, working with customers to understand their product development requirements and identify opportunities to improve performance metrics.</li>
<li>Supports the development of differentiating simulation solutions using the platform and our products; implements our solutions into customers&#39; design workflows.</li>
<li>Collaborates with Product Development to translate customer requirements into new product features; participates in testing of new Ansys product releases and develops application best practices.</li>
<li>Supports the Field and Digital Marketing teams by developing promotional materials, supporting events, and authoring conference presentations.</li>
<li>Contributes to and leads professional service deliveries and conducts training classes.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What you need</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Demonstrated experience in the use of Fluent or other commercial Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software packages.</li>
<li>Strong fundamentals and experience in modeling turbulence, multiphase flows, mass &amp; heat transfer phenomena.</li>
<li>Demonstrated understanding of engineering practices and product development, experience with building solutions using simulation technology and deploying those solutions within customers&#39; engineering workflows.</li>
<li>Logical problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in writing and speaking English.</li>
<li>Strong organizational and time management skills, possesses a sense of urgency.</li>
<li>Projects a professional image and demonstrates business acumen, driven to succeed.</li>
