<p>Responsibilities:</p>

<li>Provide highest level of workmanship on all Multimatic GT programs.</li>
<li>Oversee assigned areas of mechanical assembly as directed by the Crew Chiefs.</li>
<li>Ensure that all work performed is thorough, methodical and to the highest possible level in motor racing.</li>
<li>Establish good working knowledge of the GTD / GT3 class product and its sub-components and assembly required.</li>
<li>Report all quality and any part anomalies that could affect assembly or performance.</li>
<li>Organize tools, parts and anything required to ensure efficiency.</li>
<li>Assist Crew Chiefs in organizing work load, flow; assist when required on sub-assembly, parts, wherever there is a need.</li>
<li>Develop safe and practical methods to optimize race car assembly and preparation.</li>
<li>Support other co-workers with similar tasks in achieving the highest level of workmanship.</li>
<li>Identify problem areas related to assembly when applicable and report to chief mechanic.</li>
<li>On occasion, perform tasks as requested by team principal.</li>
<li>Provide support for all pit stop activities under the direction of the number one mechanic.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and organized work area.</li>
<li>Work closely and communicate well with other team members</li>
<li>Recognize and communicate potential improvements for safety, quality of product and time of car completion</li>
<li>Follow safety guidelines and company procedures</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
<p>This role will require you to work at both the racetrack and the workshop. The nature of the work will require you to work extended hours and on some weekends.</p>

      <Title>Quality Assurance Tester</Title>
      <Description><![CDATA[<p>We are seeking a Quality Assurance Tester to work alongside developers, customer support, and our private test community to perform testing across all of iRacing&#39;s products. This person must have an eye for detail, be confident in both creating and following documentation, and have excellent communication skills.</p>
<p>Responsibilities: Facilitate bug fixes by creating detailed bug reports, communicating with developers, and performing verification testing. Execute detailed test plans to prove the quality of new and existing features, systems, cars, and tracks. Generate reports for both qualitative and quantitative feedback to communicate information to varying audiences including management, developers, and customers. Communicate with customers both directly and through customer support to identify issues and possible temporary workarounds. Complete testing using a variety of hardware and peripherals. Assist with special projects as a trusted internal source of feedback. Support the development processes for all of iRacing&#39;s products through testing.</p>
<p>Requirements: 2+ years with an active iRacing membership required. Quality assurance application testing and/or equivalent application knowledge. Basic understanding of test methodologies and testing processes. Proficiency working with spreadsheets, datasets, and organizing and displaying data. A passion for problem solving and documentation. Exceptional eye for detail, an analytical mind, and the ability to perceive an experience from multiple usability lenses. Self-driven, a strong work ethic, patience, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities quickly. Excellent interpersonal skills conducive to working in a team environment, including with other individuals across the world.</p>
<p>Preferred: Work or undergraduate experience related to software development, testing, computer science, engineering, vehicles, design, writing, or web development strongly preferred. Knowledge of software development, web technologies, and JIRA or other bug tracking software strongly preferred. Programming expertise, 3D art skills, and web development knowledge are each highly advantageous. Previous experience with video game console development, testing, and/or console compliance testing and procedures. Fundamental knowledge of motorsports, racecraft, and vehicle dynamics preferred. Experience building PCs, working with electronic hardware components, and using a variety of racing wheels, VR devices, and other immersive peripherals. Well acquainted with PlayStation, Nintendo, and Xbox consoles. Passionate fans of Oval and/or Dirt Racing are highly encouraged! Experience and comfort working with and as a remote work employee.</p>
