<p>The Opportunity</p>
<p>We are hiring a Senior Scientist, Discovery Biology to join Rezo&#39;s Biology Team. In this role, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary group combining genetics, proteomics, structural biology, and AI to tackle challenging biological questions and develop transformative therapies.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop and optimize molecular and cellular assays to study protein function in 2D/3D tumor models.</li>
<li>Design and execute CRISPR-based genetic studies to evaluate target function and therapeutic potential.</li>
<li>Develop and conduct cell-based functional assays to profile small molecule drugs and inform structure-activity relationships (SAR).</li>
<li>Analyze experimental data, interpret findings, and prepare reports for internal discussions, regulatory filings.</li>
<li>Collaborate across interdisciplinary teams and effectively communicate scientific results.</li>
<li>Manage multiple projects efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>PhD in cancer biology, or a related field with relevant postdoctoral or industry experience.</li>
<li>Candidates with a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with 10-12+ years of expertise, including CRISPR technologies and cancer research, are also encouraged to apply.</li>
<li>Strong hands-on experience with 2D/3D tumor models and molecular biology techniques.</li>
<li>Proficiency in genetic manipulation of cancer cells, including CRISPR/Cas9, RNAi, and other genome-editing tools.</li>
<li>In-depth knowledge of the molecular and cellular mechanisms driving oncogenesis.</li>
<li>Skilled in performing immunoblotting, proliferation/apoptosis assays, and phenotypic screening assays.</li>
<li>Proven ability to work independently while fostering collaboration in a team environment.</li>
<li>Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li>

<p><strong>Additional Information</strong></p>
<p>Compensation at Rezo</p>
<p>The expected starting salary range for this position based in San Francisco, California for Sr. Scientist is $135,000-$190,000. Actual starting salary will be determined based on multiple job-related factors including candidate’s skills, education, and experience, the level at which they are hired, market demand, business needs, and internal parity.</p>

Act as a role model by demonstrating adherence to all proper safety protocols.
Perform Accessioning and processing of patient samples.
Support Biosample Management by picking and pulling samples.
