<p>Key responsibilities include inspecting molds before and after use, performing regular cleaning and polishing, repairing surface imperfections, applying and maintaining mold release systems, tracking mold use cycles, and supporting preventative maintenance schedules.</p>
<p>You will also assist in the modification or refinement of mold tooling for engineering changes, collaborate with layup and finishing teams to resolve part release or mold alignment issues, document maintenance activities, and maintain mold labeling systems.</p>
<p>Requirements include 2+ years of hands-on experience with composite molds in a production or prototyping environment, strong working knowledge of mold preparation, release systems, and composite tooling materials, and ability to identify and repair common mold issues.</p>
<p>Preferred qualifications include experience with large-format molds used in marine, aerospace, or automotive composite fabrication, knowledge of thermal cycling and dimensional control best practices, familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality systems, and experience working with both metallic and composite molds.</p>
