Anthropic is looking for a Data Engineer to join the Safeguards team and build the data foundations that keep our AI systems safe. The Safeguards team works to monitor models, prevent misuse, and ensure user well-being.

You'll design and build the data pipelines, warehousing solutions, and analytical tooling that power our safety and trust efforts at scale. • 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Proficient in SQL and Python
• Experienced in presenting insights using visualisations with tools such as Metabase, Power BI, Sigma or equivalent
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key business metrics and support strategic decisions
• Experienced in data modelling and enjoys uncovering trends in the data
• Support ETL/ELT processes and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability
• Utilize Python and AWS cloud tools to automate data workflows and analysis tasks.
• Self-motivated, Curious & detail-oriented
• Enjoy working in fast-paced environments and can adapt to shifting conditions, priorities, or deadlines.
