      <Description><![CDATA[<p>We&#39;re seeking a Staff Equipment Engineer to lead the development, sustainment, and improvement of production equipment, test racks, and test cells supporting manufacturing and system-level testing.</p>
<p>This role is highly hands-on and works closely with Manufacturing, Test, Quality, and Design Engineering teams to ensure equipment reliability, scalability, and readiness for production.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate has deep experience supporting complex electromechanical equipment in a production environment and driving improvements across safety, uptime, and throughput.</p>
<p>Responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Own the technical lifecycle of production equipment, test racks, and test cells, from production readiness through sustainment and continuous improvement</li>
<li>Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of equipment failures, downtime events, and test anomalies; implement corrective and preventive actions</li>
<li>Drive equipment reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) improvements to support production goals</li>
<li>Develop and maintain equipment documentation including schematics, BOMs, calibration plans, maintenance procedures, and operating instructions</li>
<li>Collaborate with Manufacturing, Test, and Quality teams to ensure equipment meets production, safety, and compliance requirements</li>
<li>Support equipment upgrades, obsolescence management, and capacity expansion as production scales</li>
<li>Define and execute equipment acceptance testing, validation, and handoff to production</li>
<li>Mentor junior engineers and technicians and provide technical leadership across equipment-related efforts</li>
<li>Manage external vendors and integrators as needed for equipment design, build, or modification</li>
</ul>
<p>Required qualifications:</p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field</li>
<li>8+ years of experience supporting production equipment, test racks, or test cells in a manufacturing or test environment</li>
<li>Strong hands-on experience with electromechanical systems, controls, instrumentation, and data acquisition</li>
<li>Proven ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues across hardware, software, and controls domains</li>
<li>Experience developing and maintaining technical documentation for production equipment</li>
<li>Ability to work effectively on the factory floor and in cross-functional engineering teams</li>
</ul>
<p>Preferred qualifications:</p>
<ul>
<li>Experience supporting automated or semi-automated production and test equipment</li>
<li>Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, or test software (e.g., LabVIEW, Python, or similar)</li>
<li>Experience with equipment safety standards, lockout/tagout, and risk assessments</li>
<li>Background in scaling equipment from prototype or low-rate production to higher-rate manufacturing</li>
<li>Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical projects without direct authority</li>

      <Description><![CDATA[<p>You will design, develop, and deliver technical training programs focused on the sustainment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Saronic autonomous surface vessel (ASV) systems. This role blends hands-on technical instruction, field support, and performance assessment to ensure operators and maintainers are fully prepared to sustain Saronic platforms in operational environments.</p>
<p><strong>Technical Training &amp; Curriculum Delivery</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop and deliver training programs focused on ASV system sustainment, maintenance procedures, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.</li>
<li>Provide instructor-led classroom and hands-on technical instruction to internal teams, contracted customers, and DoD partners.</li>
<li>Support the development and refinement of training materials, learning objectives, assessments, and certification standards related to platform maintenance and sustainment.</li>
<li>Conduct training needs analysis to identify sustainment-related skill gaps across operational teams.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Mission Operations Trainers to deliver integrated operator and maintainer training programs.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Technical Procedures &amp; Sustainment Standards</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Support the development and validation of maintenance procedures and sustainment best practices for Saronic ASVs.</li>
<li>Contribute to the documentation and refinement of maintenance Standard Operating Procedures.</li>
<li>Assist in establishing sustainment training standards and readiness benchmarks for system maintainers.</li>
<li>Ensure training materials remain aligned with current platform configurations, software updates, and engineering changes.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Field Support &amp; Platform Integration</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide on-site technical support during ASV system installation, integration, and commissioning activities.</li>
<li>Assist with troubleshooting hardware, software, and system-level issues in operational environments.</li>
<li>Support training and operational events to ensure platform reliability and readiness.</li>
<li>Assist engineering and product teams in validating system performance during testing and operational deployments.</li>

<p><strong>Sustainment Readiness &amp; Capability Development</strong></p>

<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>

<li>Experience troubleshooting complex mechanical, electrical, or integrated software systems.</li>
<li>Experience delivering hands-on technical training or instructor-led instruction in operational environments.</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose system faults under operational conditions.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.</li>
<li>Prior experience supporting DoD or government customers is a plus.</li>
<li>Military technical maintenance experience is a plus.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Ability to certify as “fit for work” by demonstrating ability to swim and tread water.</li>
<li>Frequently and repetitively lift, push and carry up to 50 lbs.</li>
<li>Will be exposed to marine environments including sun, wind, rain, cold, and saltwater spray for extended periods.</li>
<li>Ability to perform physically demanding work including stooping, bending, kneeling, crawling, and climbing for extended periods (up to 12 hours/day).</li>
<li>Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, or other elevated structures.</li>
<li>Ability to stand and walk for extended periods over varied terrain.</li>
<li>Ability to work in shipyard environments, onboard vessels under construction, and outdoor operational settings.</li>
<li>Wear Personal Protective Equipment and follow all prescribed safety procedures.</li>
