      <Description><![CDATA[<p>We are seeking an experienced international trade compliance leader to help build a best-in-class trade compliance program supporting the EMEA/APAC region.</p>
<p>The International Trade Compliance team is responsible for providing strategic, high-level trade compliance advice and guidance to internal business and engineering teams as well as owning day-to-day tactical execution.</p>

<p>In this role, you will be responsible for driving international trade controls and policies to protect and guide the development of commercial dual-use and defence technology across the APAC region, as an expert in applicable US and non-US export control laws and regulations.</p>
<p>The role will be a key interface between engineering, program management, compliance, and senior leadership to ensure that product teams are in line with engineering goals and compliance frameworks.</p>
<p>This person will be responsible for designing and managing controls plans for commercial dual-use and defence platforms across the region and ensuring compliance with U.S. and global export control regulations.</p>
<p>You will provide strategic guidance and regulatory expertise, achieving positive outcomes supporting Anduril’s global growth objectives.</p>
<p>Key Responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Design and implement trade compliance policies, protections, and infrastructure to ensure engineering/program development meets schedule objectives, consistent with ITAR, EAR, and local country laws/regulations of EU, UK, or Australia.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Coordinate with external partners (e.g., customers, suppliers, in-region government agencies, etc.) to ensure product roadmaps align with internal compliance posture and pivot accordingly.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Develop country-specific classification decision rationale, heuristics and methodology for Anduril programs to improve efficiency in classification while maintaining accuracy.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Leverage AI for rapid risk-mitigated determinations.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Support the release of technology and data to internal and external stakeholders.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Deploy and maintain country-specific J/C training curricula and robust methodologies to meet cost and performance metrics.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Apply for and manage country-specific export authorizations, when required.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Oversee country-specific export authorizations, ensuring compliance with license scope, provisos and associated conditions.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Support the logistics team on hardware exports and imports as appropriate.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Provide guidance and training to Anduril regional teams on ITAR, EAR and country-specific regulations as appropriate.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Perform compliance assessments, identifying and mitigating compliance risks, of export/import authorizations and related transactions and assist in any investigations of potential compliance issues.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Lead working groups, independent projects, and collaborative efforts with within the compliance function or cross-functionally driving ITC program enhancements.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Support and implement corrective actions that result from compliance issues.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Navigate co-production, co-development, and offset projects across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with US export regulations and country-specific trade laws.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Manage Defence export portal for license applications, tracking, and reporting (RR).</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Evaluate and review commodities, including hardware, software, and technical data, for export license eligibility under AUKUS and other international trade control frameworks.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Communicate and collaborate with regulators and outside counsel to address export compliance matters.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Stay updated on regulatory changes and export compliance requirements, providing timely insights and guidance to leadership.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Provide guidance on the use of collaborative environments for sharing technical information across borders.</li>
</ul>
<p>Requirements:</p>
<ul>
<li>Ability to travel +25%</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Understanding of engineering concepts across software and hardware and development principles to be able to craft policies and procedures to segregate commercial and export controlled technology development</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Strong understanding of the U.S. and non-U.S. export regulations, including relevant classifications pertaining to aerospace parts, electronics, computers, IT equipment, encryption technology, and navigational hardware, etc.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>+10 years experience in product development, defence technology, startups, defence contracting or similar</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>+5 years experience in trade compliance, international trade controls, international contracts management</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>A superpower for smashing through regulatory roadblocks</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Ability to obtain and maintain a NV2 Security Clearance</li>
</ul>
<p>Preferred Qualifications:</p>
<ul>
<li>Experience with AUKUS partnership frameworks, including export compliance, license management, and cross-border collaboration requirements</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Experience with customs and import filings, including managing Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), temporary imports, and processing ATA Carnets for duty-free and tax-free international transactions</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Experience in group 3-5 UAS, UUVs, or robotic systems product development or concepts</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Experience working with or supporting government contracts</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Experience in managing development infrastructure and training technical teams</li>
</ul>

<li>Experience designing and implementing technology control plans</li>
</ul>

<li>An understanding of the distinctives and intersection of Lean Product and Process Development, Agile Software Development, and Lean Production</li>

      <Description><![CDATA[<p>About the Role</p>
<p>KoBold&#39;s IT function supports a globally distributed team of ~280 geoscientists, data scientists, and engineers working across North America, Zambia, the DRC, and field exploration sites around the world. As we scale, our IT needs are evolving rapidly,from reactive, break/fix helpdesk support toward proactive, automated IT operations that work seamlessly across geographies, including remote field sites with limited connectivity.</p>
<p>In this role, you will own the full operational scope of Global IT. That means endpoint management, software procurement and renewals, identity and access administration, license optimization, vendor management, employee onboarding and offboarding, hardware lifecycle management, and IT training. You’ll lead a team of IT support staff, set technical direction, manage the annual software budget, and be the person who makes sure nothing falls through the cracks,renewals don’t expire, new hires have everything they need on day one, and the fleet is healthy and compliant.</p>
<p>Responsibilities</p>
<p>Endpoint Management &amp; Fleet Operations</p>
<ul>
<li>Own the Global IT roadmap, setting technical direction for endpoint management, fleet automation, and IT operations across all KoBold offices and field sites in 10+ countries</li>
<li>Design and implement zero-touch provisioning and automated reimaging workflows for macOS (Jamf) and Windows (Intune) endpoints</li>
<li>Build endpoint monitoring, alerting, and fleet health dashboards to shift IT from reactive to proactive support</li>
<li>Drive device lifecycle management including EoL/EoS tracking, hardware refresh planning, and inventory management across Jamf, Intune, CrowdStrike, and related tooling</li>
<li>Create self-service application deployment and access workflows to reduce helpdesk volume and empower employees</li>
<li>Apply DevOps principles to IT operations: configuration-as-code (e.g. managing Intune policies via Terraform), infrastructure automation, version-controlled policies, and repeatable processes</li>
<li>Own internet reliability and network performance at all global remote KoBold sites</li>
</ul>
<p>Software Procurement, Licensing &amp; Vendor Management</p>
<ul>
<li>Manage the full software procurement lifecycle: new purchases, renewals, expansions, and cancellations, ensuring user access is never disrupted by lapsed licenses or last-minute renewals</li>
<li>Own and drive execution of the annual software budget, including process improvements year-over-year and proactive renewal pipeline visibility for legal and finance</li>
<li>Optimize license utilization across the SaaS portfolio,track usage, right-size seat counts, consolidate redundant tools, and negotiate pricing with vendors</li>
<li>Coordinate with legal on contract review, working within the existing procurement process to move quickly on low-risk purchases while ensuring appropriate review for larger spend</li>
<li>Onboard new SaaS applications with proper Okta integration (SSO, SCIM) before launch, and manage decommissioning of deprecated tools</li>

<p>Identity, Access &amp; Employee Lifecycle</p>
<ul>
<li>Own Okta administration including SSO integrations, SCIM provisioning, group management, access request workflows, and lifecycle automation</li>
<li>Manage Google Workspace administration, including license management, security settings, and break-glass super-admin governance</li>
<li>Build automation for minimal-touch employee onboarding and offboarding,ensuring new hires are fully provisioned on day one and departing employees are cleanly deprovisioned</li>
<li>Support AI tooling rollout (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, and related tools) across the endpoint fleet, including deployment, configuration, and employee training</li>
</ul>
<p>Team Leadership &amp; Training</p>
<ul>
<li>Supervise and mentor IT support staff, providing technical coaching, priority-setting, performance management, and career development</li>
<li>Develop and maintain IT training programs for new hires and ongoing employee enablement, including documentation, video walkthroughs, and live onboarding sessions</li>
<li>Provide helpdesk backup on high-volume days, modeling the standard of responsiveness and quality you expect from the team</li>
</ul>
<p>Cross-Functional Collaboration</p>
<ul>
<li>Learn about mineral exploration by working closely with exploration teams, including time in the field in remote operations</li>
<li>Collaborate with infrastructure engineering and security teams on cross-cutting initiatives including observability, access controls, endpoint security posture, and incident response</li>
<li>Partner across the company to contribute to specification, vendor selection, and change management on new software requests</li>
<li>Partner with finance on budget tracking, invoice approvals, and AFE submissions for software spend</li>
<li>Work with legal to streamline the contract review pipeline, maintain lead times on renewals, and advocate for tiered review processes that match risk to effort</li>
<li>Coordinate digitization efforts across the globe, ensuring consistent standards and tooling for converting physical records to digital archives at field and office sites</li>
</ul>
<p>Qualifications</p>
<ul>
<li>5+ years of experience in IT engineering, IT management, or a similar role combining hands-on technical depth with operational ownership</li>
<li>Strong experience with MDM platforms, particularly Jamf (macOS) and Microsoft Intune (Windows), including policy configuration, automated enrollment, compliance enforcement</li>
