      <Description><![CDATA[<p>We are looking for a Frontend Software Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa, CA. As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing custom, map-based UI/UX for autonomous system command and control. You will work with customers to understand their requirements, design bespoke user interfaces with excellent user experiences.</p>
<p>Key responsibilities include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Working with pilots and other drone users to understand how to design UX&#39;s to reduce cognitive burden while still ensuring safety of flight</li>
<li>Designing, building, and deploying a real-time, map-based interface for displaying and interacting with sensor data and commanding physical assets</li>
<li>Fetching and managing large streams of data while maintaining performant rendering in a low-friction user experience</li>
<li>Building and designing immersive image-viewing experiences on multiple platforms, including web-based and mobile 3D image viewing</li>
<li>Partnering with end-users to turn needs into features while balancing user experience with engineering constraints</li>
</ul>
<p>Core requirements include:</p>
<ul>
<li>A degree in Computer Science, Operations Research, Electrical Engineering or related technical degree</li>
<li>Experience working on frontend applications, especially data-intensive or map-based systems</li>
<li>4+ years of professional experience using Javascript, Typescript, React</li>
<li>Broad experience in delivering functional outcomes</li>
<li>A mindset towards innovative approaches of problem solving</li>
<li>Eligible to obtain an active U.S. Secret security clearance</li>
<li>Willingness to travel up to 25%</li>
</ul>
<p>Desired requirements include:</p>
<ul>
<li>A strong background with focus in Physics, Mathematics, and/or Motion Planning to inform modeling &amp; simulation (M&amp;S) and physical systems</li>
<li>Developing and testing UI/UX for multi-agent autonomous systems and deploying in real-world environments</li>
<li>Feature and algorithm development with an understanding of behavior trees</li>
<li>Developing software for flight systems and safety critical functionality</li>
<li>Distributed communication networks and message standards</li>
</ul>
<p>US Salary Range: $129,000-$171,000 USD</p>
