Their role will foresee activities in the workshop, and at the race and test events.</p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pre-Event and Post-Event Activities in the Workshop</li>\n<li>Load and un-load the trucks ensuring clean and safe storage of the cars, tires, equipment, and flight cases</li>\n<li>Drive the truck to and from the race and test venues.</li>\n<li>Maintain the consumables stock according to a stock list and proactively advise the Crew Chief when there are shortages problems or doubts.</li>\n<li>Maintain the truck and trailer in immaculate form and safe operating order, proactively advise the Chief Workshop when there are problems or doubts.</li>\n<li>Responsible for dispensing of consumables and ensuring an adequate stock of consumables are available, interfacing with the workshop for supply chain.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Upon Arrival / Set up day at Event/Pre-running sessions</li>\n<li>Assist with setting up/dismantling team equipment in the garage including unloading/loading materials.</li>\n<li>Check completed job list tasks with the Crew Chief.</li>\n<li>Manage tire duties for his assigned car, liasing with the car chief and the race engineer of the assigned car.</li>\n<li>Ensure deadlines for tire chores are respected in order to be compliant with the Sporting Regulations.</li>\n<li>Ensure the Trucks, rear of garage and front of house areas are of a clean and presentable state.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>During sessions (FP, Qualy and Race, test sessions)</li>\n<li>Provide clear communication with the Car Chief and Race Engineer.</li>\n<li>Participate in the pit-stops and maintain the fuelling equipment.</li>\n<li>Ensure tire management to the highest possible standard.</li>\n<li>Follow the Race Engineer’s instructions with regard to the tire numbers and pressures.</li>\n<li>Assist the mechanics with small jobs upon request (emptying drip trays, cleaning car parts, etc).</li>\n<li>Assist the designated Fuel person upon request (transport/moving of fuel).</li>\n<li>Fill/top up the air bottles in the pit gantry and garage as and when required.</li>\n<li>Set out and remove the Tensa barriers before and after each session.</li>\n<li>Report anomalies and issues encountered in his tasks immediately to the Crew Chief and/or Race Engineer.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Skillset</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Motorsport experience, truck-driving and trailer-handling (valid truck-driver licence).</li>\n<li>Hands on approach with a flexible &#39;Can Do&#39; and &#39;Will Do&#39; attitude.</li>\n<li>Flexible with workload and tight deadline.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of English required.</li>\n<li>Pro-active problem solver, strong organisation and planning capacities.</li>\n<li>Promote our values (People, Passion, Performance) and commit to personal investment into the WRT ESG strategy.</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-top:24px;font-size:13px;color:#666;\">XML job scraping automation by <a href=\"https://yubhub.co\">YubHub</a></p>","url":"https://yubhub.co/jobs/job_9fe973cc-e97","directApply":true,"hiringOrganization":{"@type":"Organization","name":"WRT (W Racing Team)","sameAs":"https://www.w-racingteam.com","logo":"https://logos.yubhub.co/w-racingteam.com.png"},"x-apply-url":"https://www.w-racingteam.com/manufacturing/careers/truckie-lmdh?utm_source=yubhub.co&utm_medium=jobs_feed&utm_campaign=apply","x-work-arrangement":"onsite","x-experience-level":"entry","x-job-type":"full-time","x-salary-range":"Competitive salary and benefits package","x-skills-required":["Motorsport experience","Truck-driving and trailer-handling","Valid truck-driver licence","English language skills","Problem-solving skills","Organisation and planning skills"],"x-skills-preferred":["Hands on approach","Flexible attitude","Knowledge of WRT values and ESG strategy"],"datePosted":"2026-03-06T14:29:14.450Z","jobLocation":{"@type":"Place","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressLocality":"Bierset, Belgium"}},"employmentType":"FULL_TIME","occupationalCategory":"Engineering","industry":"Motorsport","skills":"Motorsport experience, Truck-driving and trailer-handling, Valid truck-driver licence, English language skills, Problem-solving skills, Organisation and planning skills, Hands on approach, Flexible attitude, Knowledge of WRT values and ESG strategy"}]}
