      <Description><![CDATA[<p>Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to join our team based in Costa Mesa, CA. <p>Key Responsibilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>Work closely with cross-functional teams to define software architecture and interface specifications for embedded wireless systems</li>
<li>Analyze and implement wireless protocols and vehicle command/control schemes</li>
<li>Implement low-level device drivers and board support packages for software-defined radio products</li>
<li>Own complex firmware features of an embedded system</li>
<li>Quickly debug and troubleshoot issues that span the electrical, firmware, and software boundaries</li>
<li>Help select microcontrollers and peripherals and review schematics with electrical engineering team</li>
</ul>
<p>Requirements:</p>
<ul>
<li>BS or MS in CS/CE/EE or equivalent industry experience</li>
<li>5+ years of experience in firmware/embedded software development, ideally with a focus on embedded wireless or networking products</li>
<li>Strong C coding ability for embedded systems</li>
<li>Experience with one or more microcontroller cores (ARM, AVR, MSP430, RISC-V, etc.)</li>
<li>Experience integrating microcontrollers with analog and digital sensors</li>
<li>Experience developing firmware in RTOS (ThreadX, FreeRTOS) environments</li>
<li>Solid debugging skills using JTAG/SWD, Oscilloscopes, and Logic analyzers</li>
<li>Understanding and application of coding best practices, testing methodologies, and performance optimization</li>
<li>Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities</li>
</ul>
<p>Preferred Qualifications:</p>
<ul>
<li>Solid experience with common bus protocols such as SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232, WiFi, BLE, Ethernet, etc.</li>
<li>Experience with networking protocols (such as TCP/IP) and wireless access methods (such as CSMA/CDMA/TDMA and FDM/TDM) and their effect on throughput, latency, and system capacity</li>
<li>Understanding of queuing, bandwidth allocation, and wireless interfacing</li>
<li>Experience with power management and low-power design techniques</li>
<li>Familiarity with hardware schematics, datasheets, and PCB layouts</li>
</ul>
<p>Salary Range: $191,000-$253,000 USD</p>
