The successful candidate will be responsible for follow-the-sun delivery and support of Network services, prompt reaction on all network infrastructure incidents as 2nd line support and cooperation with other infrastructure teams for resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all escalated incidents are handled by the team within SLA's.
• Participate in Problem management processes.
• Ensure that our Network Operations are reliable, secure, resilient and scalable to support our growing business.
• On-time delivery of assigned network infrastructure projects.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation on all system designs and configurations, troubleshooting procedures.
• Oversee network security measures and identifies potential risks to ensure sufficient mechanisms are in place to protect systems and data.
• Design, deploy, and support LANs, WANs, network appliances, load balancers, routers, switches, and other hardware.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of IT Infrastructure technologies, standards, and trends.
• Strong technical background with 3+ years’ experience in a Network Administration role delivering network infrastructure systems, security and support.
• Strong technical knowledge of network equipment – switches, routers (Cisco, Dell, HP,) & firewalls.
• Strong technical knowledge of organizing WiFi setups.
• Strong understanding of IPsec VPN setup, site-to-site tunnels, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of all aspects of design and implementation of corporate networking and systems infrastructure, including MPLS, VPN, network connectivity, Internet access.
• Proficiency with switching and routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, route maps, Access Control Lists, route redistribution, path selection, and traffic engineering.
• Experience with LAN/WAN/SD-WAN design and architecture.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure change management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex IT infrastructure issues.
• Work with vendors and service providers to resolve escalated issues - Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures

Desirable:

• Hands-on experience with firewall configuration, policy management, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with RAS VPN configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting across user devices.
• Experience integrating GlobalProtect with authentication mechanisms such as LDAP, SAML, and MFA.

• Technical background with 3+ years’ experience in IT operations role delivering IT infrastructure support, monitoring systems (PRTG, Observium, LibreNMS, Zabbix) and incident management
• Technical knowledge of the Microsoft Stack, Windows networking, Active Directory, Exchange
• Previous experience in System Administration of Linux/Unix OS, ChromeOS or Windows, mobile/embedded systems
• Networking skills and certification in Cisco CCNA level or CompTIA Network+ would be an asset
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
