<p><strong>Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p><strong>SHE Governance &amp; Assurance</strong></p>

<li>Provide independent assurance that site activities comply with SHE policies, legal requirements, and environmental permit conditions.</li>
<li>Conduct SHE audits, inspections, and compliance reviews across operational areas.</li>
<li>Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of risk controls developed by operational teams.</li>
<li>Support operational teams in the investigation of accidents, near misses, and environmental incidents</li>
<li>Support preparation for regulatory inspections, customer audits, and certification audits.</li>
<li>Maintain SHE management system documentation and records.</li>
<li>Track corrective actions to ensure effective closure and organisational learning.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Environmental &amp; Energy Management Systems</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Support the implementation and continual improvement of the site Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001 and the site Energy Management System in accordance with ISO 50001.</li>
<li>Assist in identifying opportunities to improve environmental performance and energy efficiency.</li>
<li>Support monitoring and reporting of energy performance indicators (EnPIs) and environmental metrics.</li>
<li>Support compliance with the site environmental permit and relevant environmental legislation.</li>
<li>Monitor environmental performance including effluent discharges, waste management, emissions, and resource use.</li>
<li>Support the investigation and management of environmental incidents or permit deviations.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Coaching &amp; Operational Support</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Coach and support managers and supervisors in fulfilling their SHE responsibilities.</li>
<li>Provide guidance on risk management, safe systems of work, and environmental compliance.</li>
<li>Challenge unsafe practices and support operational teams to identify practical solutions.</li>
