<p>The specific areas / sub-systems of responsibility would be within the base engine / long block and would be defined at the point of employment and joining the base engine team based on the successful candidate’s skill set and experience coupled with the skill set of the existing team. Examples of the ‘base engine’ / long block sub-systems are; Cylinder Block, heads, PCV, EGR, Sealing, Covers, Valvetrain, VCT’s, Cam Drive, Piston and Rod, Rotating system, Oil pump &amp; Lubrication, Engine bearings Etc.</p>
<p>The D&amp;R Engineer is responsible for managing product release CAD and BOM structures, including assembly positioning and mass attribute analysis. This role also includes facilitating supplier data integration and developing CAD studies to support and drive design improvements.</p>
<p>The D&amp;R Engineer is expected to understand and effectively utilize product check-in/check-out processes, version control, data release, and change management within Ford’s PLM ecosystem.</p>
<p>The D&amp;R Engineer will perform feasibility analyses using CAD tools, including draft angle analysis, undercut detection, minimum bend radius validation for sheet metal, and clearance checks to support manufacturing and machining requirements.</p>

<li>Sense of Responsibility: Capable of working independently as well as a part of large and small teams</li>
