      <Description><![CDATA[<p>As our Senior Radiation Effects Engineer, you will be responsible for characterizing radiation environments for our missions and testing analysis for our spacecraft. This position requires hands-on experience validating parts for radiation environments specific to aerospace.</p>
<p>Your key responsibilities will include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Designing fault-tolerant electrical systems for operating in a radiation environment</li>
<li>Simulating and modeling the GTO and GEO radiation environments</li>
<li>Coordinating and running radiation testing campaigns to upscreen components</li>
<li>Working with the structures team to determine the proper shielding levels across the spacecraft</li>
<li>Integrating these systems into the spacecraft by working closely with the rest of the team</li>
<li>Supporting other electrical design, bringup, and test activities</li>
<li>Assisting in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring additional teammates to our rapidly-growing team.</li>
</ul>
<p>Requirements:</p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor of Science degree in nuclear engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or equivalent technical field</li>
<li>A passion for hardware development, including working in a fast-paced environment and hands-on design and development</li>
<li>Experience with the Geostationary radiation environment (TID, SEE, DDD)</li>
<li>Experience with designing for and testing for radiation effects</li>
<li>Experience in testing analog and digital circuits</li>
<li>Experience with high reliability systems</li>
<li>US Citizenship or Green Card</li>
</ul>
<p>Bonus:</p>
<ul>
<li>Electromechanical design experience</li>
<li>Experience running tests at radiation labs</li>
<li>Experience with designing dosimeter circuits</li>
<li>ECAD + MCAD Experience (Altium, Solidworks)</li>
</ul>
