<p>What to Expect: Conduct comprehensive inspection operations on composite parts to ensure they meet McLaren&#39;s exacting quality standards. Inspect and validate composite repair operations, ensuring all repairs are completed to specification. Work closely with the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to control product routing and ensure efficient material flow through production operations. Support production teams in maintaining quality standards and resolving issues on shift.</p>
<p>Responsibilities: Perform detailed visual and in some cases dimensional inspections on composite components across shifts. Inspect composite repair operations and validate repair quality against established procedures and standards. Utilise MES to track, route and control parts throughout the production process, ensuring accurate status updates and efficient workflow. Identify, document and disposition non-conformances within the MCTC Manufacturing Execution System. Conduct line-side inspections to support real-time quality decision making and prevent defects from progressing. Manage hold/quarantine status of products and work with production teams to ensure controlled material flow. Participate in practical problem-solving (PPS) activities with engineering and production teams for quality concern resolution. Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation within MES. Support new product introduction activities through inspection validation and process capability assessment. Collaborate with production planners to optimise product routing and minimise bottlenecks. Monitor and report on quality trends to support continuous improvement initiatives.</p>
<p>Knowledge, skills &amp; experience: Proven experience in composites inspection or detailed quality inspection for both visual and structural components. Experience working with carbon fibre composite materials and manufacturing processes. Knowledge of composite repair techniques and repair inspection criteria is highly desirable. Experience using Manufacturing Execution Systems such as DelmiaApriso or similar production control systems is advantageous. Understanding of dimensional inspection techniques and use of inspection equipment (e.g., CMM, scanning arms) is desirable. Experience of working in a low volume/niche vehicle manufacturing environment is advantageous. Understanding of automotive quality processes (APQP &amp; PPAP) is beneficial but not essential. PC literate with ability to process data in Microsoft Excel and other quality systems.</p>

      <Title>Process Engineer (Heat treatment)</Title>
      <Description><![CDATA[<p>In this position, you will be responsible for managing the Heat Treatment and Chemical Treatment processes in the building. This includes managing operations across both pusher and batch-style furnaces, evaluating the ergonomics of quenching and fixture-loading workflows to ensure operator safety. You will also lead &quot;Visual Factory&quot; management to make furnace cycle status, metallurgical trends, and production issues transparent to all team members.</p>
<p>Your responsibilities will include managing quality documentation process control plans, operator instructions, SCCAF, PFMEA, and heat treatment test documentation, etc. You will participate in Quality and Safety audits, prepare standard reports for Quality reviews within the plant and with other areas, and review rejected parts for quality integrity and decide next steps. You will issue daily Incoming Quality report and lead cross-functional team initiatives in quality to achieve no faults forward / zero defects.</p>
<p>You will deliver capable processes and tools, analyze root causes, engage in mapping and corrective actions, coordinate Green and Black Belt projects within the department, document and control error-proofing checks, internal checks, and additional containments. You will participate in interplant benchmarking exercises, actively participate in Simultaneous Engineering meetings, Forward Planning and Product Design to ensure MTC process is followed.</p>
<p>You will apply engineering principles &amp; analytical techniques to establish and continuously improve manufacturing processes and products, implement interim &amp; permanent corrective actions to resolve quality issues using 8D tool, 6 panel, etc. You will manage and direct statistical process control activities, knowledge of and ability to execute measurement systems analysis &amp; variable data analysis.</p>
<p>You will establish and monitor quality target levels for each build, provide input for design and assembly concepts which will yield nominal variations, establish critical characteristics for gauging and measuring data collection methods, determine inspection equipment and facility requirements, support expedited concern resolution with cross-functional teams including the Quality Department, Production and Suppliers.</p>
<p>You will review internal/external suppliers for critical characteristics process compatibility, review incoming quality concerns to maintain quality with assigned area, must have experience with initiating containment, determining root cause, and implementing corrective actions.</p>
<p>Work with and manage hourly (UAW) personnel as required.</p>

Experience working with delicate hardware such as microelectronics assemblies and performing ultra fine motor skill tasks. Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.</p>
<p>Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working within a clean room environment. Experience with microelectronics packaging such as wirebonders.
