As Consumer Insights Director for EA Entertainment - Shooter games, you will join a team that is constantly in pursuit of understanding our players and transforming insights into business outcomes.</p>
<p>You&#39;ll represent the voice of players. You&#39;ll inform new play experiences and help improve the future of gaming at EA. You&#39;ll guide business strategies using fan insight at the core.</p>
<p>As Consumer Insights Director for EA Entertainment - Shooter games, you will lead a small pod of experienced research experts within Consumer Insights across North America and Europe focused on shooters and other franchises.</p>
<p>You&#39;ll partner closely with our studios, brand and marketing teams, and fellow research and analytics teams. We are looking for a strategic thought-leader and senior relationship-builder who can collaborate, drive change management, and understand our shooter businesses&#39; context and industry business trends to inform decisions and have real impact on our games, live services, and communications.</p>

<p>You will work with:</p>
<ul>
<li>Our Consumer Insights team - we are a collaborative team where you will work with other franchise leads, central subject matter experts, and a support team of researchers, with diverse skills and focus areas.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Our EAE/Shooter pod - developing a small group within Consumer Insights of senior research experts focused on games like Battlefield and Apex Legends.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>EA&#39;s studios and brand leadership - we partner with senior decision-makers across development, marketing, and publishing to inform strategies from concept to greenlight to launch and throughout live services.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Other analytics &amp; research teams - we work together to develop shared initiatives and synthesize the voice of the player, drawing from other areas of expertise (e.g. telemetry analytics, user experience research, social listening).</li>
</ul>
<p>In a given week, you might:</p>
<ul>
<li>Design and drive initiatives based on business needs and using change management skills to guide leaders on product development, marketing, and commercial decisions based on player insights</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Directly or indirectly inform qualitative and quantitative research approaches and communication plans on both short- and long-term horizons</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Synthesize decision-ready insights across your team and with partner teams to create unified narratives across data sources and learnings</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Develop and inform improvements in methodology, insight application, team culture &amp; maturity, and other areas to level-up your team, your partners, or the broader organization</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Make business-driven recommendations around resourcing (e.g. budget, headcount allocation)</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Coach research experts within your team for ongoing career development and excellence</li>
</ul>
<p>Skills you bring:</p>
<ul>
<li>Insights Expertise. 12+ years of experience working in Consumer Insights, Market Research, or a related function, with knowledge across different research techniques and methodologies.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Gaming &amp; shooter market knowledge. You learn and keep up with the latest trends in this changing business.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>People Management. You’re a proven manager of experienced &amp; independent employees with a passion for developing talent.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Influential Impact. You&#39;re accustomed to building trusted relationships with and influencing a cross-functional audience up to executive levels.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Strategic Thinking. You have a track record of connecting the dots for your stakeholders across multiple sources, including outside of your own, and have strong business and marketing knowledge.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Creative and Scrappy Approach. You&#39;ve designed non-traditional methodologies when the status quo wasn&#39;t enough, and you&#39;re comfortable navigating ambiguity, even on fast-paced product cycles.</li>
</ul>

<li>Ability to travel, including internationally.</li>
</ul>
