We're seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the development of hydraulic and actuated systems for our X-BAT jet-engine VTOL military UAV platform. This role involves designing components and fluid systems, engaging with suppliers, performing system and component analysis and sizing, and owning multiple aspects of X-BAT's hydraulics and actuation systems.
\nKey responsibilities include:
\nThe ideal candidate will have a BS in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent), 5+ years of experience in fluid or hydraulic system design, and strong CAD skills (preferably NX). They should also be proficient in hydraulic system analysis, including 1st principles, Simscape, and Amesim.

Excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for problem solving. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
