The Role

As a People & Culture (P&C) Partner to our Central Operations, Responsibility and Engagement (CORE) teams, you'll be a pivotal force in shaping and accelerating the delivery and performance of your Organisation's highest priorities. Working alongside the wider P&C team, you will collaborate directly with CORE senior leaders to cultivate healthy, high-performing teams.

You'll deeply understand the business, provide strategic direction and coaching and lead change management initiatives across a dynamic, global organization. You will proactively design and implement creative people and culture solutions that not only drive exceptional team performance but also directly align with our ambitious organizational goals, delivering measurable, impactful results.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving business strategy and outcomes - deeply understand the organization’s product, business and goals, and drive people strategies and tactics to support it

• Delivering high impact solutions to challenges including organization design and leadership capability, ensuring alignment with strategic goals

• Partnering with and coaching senior leaders to develop their skills and improve team and organizational performance

• Acting with confidence and strong judgement in an inspiring and fast paced environment, instilling trust in everyone you interact with, and delivering thoughtful, bespoke and creative solutions

• Being proactive and adaptable, anticipating and addressing challenges before they arise

• Utilizing a data driven approach to partnering

About You

In order to set you up for success as a People & Culture Partner at Google DeepMind, we look for the following skills and experience:

• You have substantial experience operating as an HR professional, ideally spanning both agile, scaling businesses and larger, complex, matrixed companies.

• You thrive in a dynamic environment and possess the ability to lead and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, while effectively prioritizing and delegating tasks. You seamlessly transition between strategic planning and hands-on execution, demonstrating a strong understanding of both the operational and strategic aspects of HR.

• You possess an outstanding understanding of human behavior including a strong understanding of self.

• Ability and curiosity to use AI tools practically and effectively in your work, with a recognition and awareness of AI’s responsible use, risks, and limitations.

About the Role

This is a senior-level role for a product designer with a strong visual design background who collaborates with other designers and engineers to apply brand guidelines across all work. The ideal candidate can quickly grasp and distill complex design challenges and product thoughtful user-first solutions.

In this Role You Will:

• Bridge brand and product to ensure a unified experience across Replit’s product, marketing, and shared surfaces

• Translate brand principles into interaction patterns, components, and scalable design systems

• Design for clarity by creating journeys, flows, frameworks, and UI concepts that turn complex systems into intuitive experiences

• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, AI, and Marketing partners throughout the design process

• Prototype and iterate on ideas quickly, using feedback, research insights, and real-world constraints

• Contribute to and help evolve shared design guidelines, patterns, and experience standards

• Present and articulate design decisions clearly, grounding solutions in user needs, data, and business goals

• Identify experience gaps or inconsistencies and propose thoughtful, system-level solutions

Required Skills and Experience:

• 8-10 years of experience in product, brand, or other visual design

• A portfolio that demonstrates system-level design excellence and world-class creative execution across campaigns and platforms.

• Comfort designing user journeys, interaction flows, and scalable systems

• Strong grasp of user-centered design and human behavior across digital products

• Experience working within or contributing to design systems

• Proficiency with Figma and modern prototyping tools

• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional, fast-moving environments

• Clear communication skills and confidence presenting design rationale
