We are looking for a Senior Electrical Sustainment Engineer to join our team in Atlanta, GA.
\nAs a Senior Electrical Sustainment Engineer, you will help manage product sustainment in a production process with engineering improvements, product cost down, and sourcing engineering support. You will perform and own design updates of embedded electronics, including hardware selection, schematic & PCB updates, board bring-up, validation and system level integration.
\nYou will work closely with other electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to perform product updates driven by new feature requests and/or component obsolescence's. You will troubleshoot issues that span the electrical and software boundaries, with solid skills using both lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, DMM, etc.) and software debugging tools.
\nYou will support sourcing teams with managing long lead and end-of-life components to ensure continuous production. You will work in a fast-paced environment supporting new product introductions, active deployments, and customer operated hardware.
\nYou will balance involvement in multiple sustaining projects at various stages to ensure timely and effective results.
\nRequired qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent, and 8+ years of experience designing, testing, troubleshooting and sustaining complex embedded systems and products.
\nPreferred qualifications include knowledge of embedded software development, familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, and experience working on products used in tough environments (automotive, aerospace, defense, etc.).
\nThe salary range for this role is $126,000-$167,000 USD, and highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full-time offers.

\nPreferred qualifications include proficiency with C, familiarity with software development processes and tools such as git, Github, JIRA, etc., experience with developing for a safety-critical environment, experience working on products used in tough environments (automotive, aerospace, defense, etc.), and knowledge of embedded software development, including use of timers, interrupts, hardware peripherals such as SPI controllers and ADCs.
