As a Composites Fitter, you will be responsible for producing high-quality automotive parts using pre-preg composite materials.</p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Produce high-quality automotive parts using pre-preg composite materials</li>\n<li>Adhere to validated process cycle/TAKT times</li>\n<li>Maintain the highest quality standards on all manufactured composites components</li>\n<li>Support Team Leader with prioritizing work and other activities</li>\n<li>Contribute to training and development of other team members</li>\n<li>Ensure the work area is clean, tidy, and orderly, and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others</li>\n<li>Proactively contribute to developing processes to improve quality and efficiency</li>\n<li>Set an example to production operatives</li>\n<li>Provide support on all processes in the department</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Requirements:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous background in composites manufacturing and the associated Assembly/Fitting processes is essential</li>\n<li>Pre-preg assembly/fitting experience, including hand trimming parts and experience using various hand tools, CNC/Robot operation, Bonding processes using various adhesives, etc.</li>\n<li>Thorough understanding of composite materials</li>\n<li>Experience and understanding of Quality issues</li>\n<li>Has developed proficiency in a range of processes or procedures through job-related training and considerable on-the-job expertise</li>\n<li>Must demonstrate previous experience of using their own initiative and work under minimum supervision</li>\n<li>Ability to read and draw information from engineering drawings/manuals</li>\n<li>Have a good knowledge base of materials</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Personal Attributes:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels</li>\n<li>Able to adopt a professional and mature attitude to work and other people</li>\n<li>Enthusiastic, and highly self-motivated</li>\n<li>Proactive - takes opportunity to use initiative where possible</li>\n<li>Team player – supports other team members, department strategies, and processes</li>\n<li>Determined – results-focused, driven to do the very best possible</li>\n<li>Flexibility towards overtime when available</li>\n<li>Excellent attendance and time keeping</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Benefits:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Structured career development framework</li>\n<li>25 days&#39; holiday, plus bank holiday.
