In this role, you&#39;ll provide critical support to the legal team across a variety of areas, including contracts, corporate governance, compliance, intellectual property, and enhancing overall legal operations.</p>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage legal billing and legal vendor invoicing issues</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with drafting legal briefs, contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage data and document collections and assist with e-discovery services</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and implement processes to streamline legal operations, integrate technology tools, and drive overall efficiencies.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Be a swiss army knife: pitch in for anything needed in the legal department, even if it&#39;s unfamiliar or not in your lane.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#39;s degree required</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with Google Vault and Relativity preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a strong sense of ownership, be inquisitive and enthusiastic about technology, enjoy being continually challenged, and can demonstrate sound judgment in ambiguous situations</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise tasks independently</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Team-first player and be highly mission-driven</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a proactive mindset</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Tech-savvy with an understanding or keen interest in emerging technologies like AI</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Notary registration or a strong interest in obtaining certification is desirable</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:</strong></p>\n<p>$100,000 - $150,000 USD</p>\n<p>Base salary is just one part of our total rewards package at xAI, which also includes equity, comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, access to a 401(k) retirement plan, short &amp; long-term disability insurance, life insurance, and various other discounts and perks.</p>\n<p><strong>ITAR REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorisations from the U.S. Department of State.
