We’re an established, collaborative team with a balance of structure, process, and ambitious problems to solve for.</p>\n<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>\n<p>We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Candidate Experience Manager to lead our global coordination team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the coordination of candidate interviews, ensuring a seamless and exceptional candidate experience, and scaling our coordination processes to meet the demands of a high-volume recruiting environment.</p>\n<p>This role is based in our San Francisco HQ office and not currently open to fully remote work.</p>\n<p><strong>In this role, you will:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage and lead our ever growing coordination team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee the coordination processes of all candidate interviews, including scheduling, communication, and logistics for both virtual and in-office interviews.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and implement scalable coordination processes to improve efficiency and consistency across the team.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Influence and enhance candidate experience programs, ensuring every candidate receives a positive and professional experience throughout the recruitment process.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee high-volume recruiting activities, ensuring timely and accurate scheduling and coordination of interviews and candidate interactions.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop, implement, and audit job posting and interview plan processes to ensure consistency and effectiveness.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and support throughout the recruitment lifecycle.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Continuously assess and improve coordination practices, leveraging feedback and data to drive process improvements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A good understanding of load balancing for coordinators</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Familiarity with Ashby ATS is a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience in managing a global recruiting coordination team.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong familiarity with in-office interviewing processes and best practices.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrated background in building and scaling coordination processes within a high-volume recruiting environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>History of managing and influencing candidate experience programs, with a focus on delivering exceptional service.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a strong attention to detail.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Well versed in Project Management Practices</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 5 years of people management experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>About OpenAI</strong></p>\n<p>OpenAI is an AI research and deployment company dedicated to ensuring that general-purpose artificial intelligence benefits all of humanity. You will lead a large, geographically distributed team of Recruiting Coordinators and team leads, with responsibility for the systems, workflows, and service standards that enable smooth and exceptional hiring across the entire company.</p>\n<p>This role blends global people leadership, operational rigor, and strategic design. You’ll build an AI-first candidate experience model, support some of the most complex and confidential searches at OpenAI, and drive the infrastructure needed to support high-volume and research-level technical hiring.
