The Gas Process Engineering Division provides technologies, process engineering expertise, support and consultation in the areas of Gas Treatment, Acid Gas Enrichment, NGL Recovery and Fractionation, Gas dehydration, LNG, LPG and Sulfur Recovery.</p>\n<p>The primary role of a Senior Gas Process Engineer is to provide specific technical expertise as well as to support and consult in specific areas of Gas Processing Unit design and operational support.</p>\n<p>Key responsibilities include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Providing technical support for gas processing operating plants</li>\n<li>Troubleshooting major plant upsets and/or chronic operational problems</li>\n<li>Identifying improvement opportunities, potential problems, and remedies to existing problems</li>\n<li>Providing technical lead in the evaluation of Gas Processing technologies to improve plant&#39;s performance</li>\n<li>Developing plans and road maps for reviewing and incorporating new technologies including preliminary economics</li>\n<li>Conducting simulations studies using process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS</li>\n<li>Preparing preliminary scope of work (including process schematic and equipment list) to debottleneck existing facilities or design new facilities</li>\n<li>Coordinating the execution of capacity increase studies with operating facilities and detailed engineering design contractor and/or Vendors</li>\n<li>Creating/Updating Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards related to Gas Processing</li>\n<li>Supporting process design and engineering activities for new projects in conceptual, pre-FEED, FEED and Detailed Engineering phases</li>\n<li>Mentoring and developing young Saudi Arab Engineers</li>\n<li>Developing new and/or delivering existing technical courses for engineers from operating facilities</li>\n<li>Presenting technical papers in major international conferences and issuing papers in reputable oil and gas journals</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Minimum requirements include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor&#39;s degree in Chemical Engineering with minimum of 10 years experience in Gas Processing area, including at least 3 years field experience</li>\n<li>Membership of a recognized professional institute is preferred</li>\n<li>Must have minimum 10 years of experience working directly with Gas processing including, Gas Treatment, Acid Gas Enrichment, NGL Recovery, Gas dehydration, LNG, LPG and Sulfur Recovery</li>\n<li>Minimum 3 Years of field experience working with Gas Processing Facilities is required, including start up and troubleshooting support of Gas Processing Units</li>\n<li>Have adequate design experience in order to take a lead role as the company representative when working with engineering companies performing studies and design activities for Gas Processing projects</li>\n<li>Expert in process simulation modelling such as Aspen Hysys or Promax</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-top:24px;font-size:13px;color:#666;\">XML job scraping automation by <a href=\"https://yubhub.co\">YubHub</a></p>","url":"https://yubhub.co/jobs/job_d88a8712-353","directApply":true,"hiringOrganization":{"@type":"Organization","name":"Aramco","sameAs":"https://careers.aramco.com","logo":"https://logos.yubhub.co/careers.aramco.com.png"},"x-apply-url":"https://careers.aramco.com/expat_us/job/Gas-Process-Engineer/857172623/","x-work-arrangement":"onsite","x-experience-level":"senior","x-job-type":"full-time","x-salary-range":null,"x-skills-required":["chemical engineering","gas processing","process simulation","aspen hysys","promax","gas treatment","acid gas enrichment","ngl recovery","gas dehydration","lng","lpg","sulfur recovery"],"x-skills-preferred":[],"datePosted":"2026-04-24T12:10:04.496Z","employmentType":"FULL_TIME","occupationalCategory":"Engineering","industry":"Energy","skills":"chemical engineering, gas processing, process simulation, aspen hysys, promax, gas treatment, acid gas enrichment, ngl recovery, gas dehydration, lng, lpg, sulfur recovery"}]}
